C400 2.0ch 270W Soundbar Speaker (2023) - Bluetooth Soundbar with 4 Speakers, Surround Sound Expansion mode

This Samsung C400 soundbar is an excellent buy, at a very good price. The name Samsung says it all “a quality build and performance”. Very easy to install, the setup using Bluetooth was achieved within seconds. The sound quality is very good in surround or standard setting.

bought for my father-in-law who has hearing aids, and was struggling to hear the TV - this has made a huge difference, the sound projects into the room much better than the standard speakers, and gives a really good sound range, with beefy base and clear high-notes. My only criticism is it occasionally doesn't connect with the TV when switched on, needing to be manually reconnected (probably only one in 200 times though so not a big deal)

Absolutely superb!! The sound quality is second to none! Using an optical cable instead of Bluetooth, the cable is more reliable. Okay you can’t sync the remotes because of the optical cable but that doesn’t bother me. This Samsung soundbar was value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Works as it should. Sound is good fit home use, but it's never going to be cinema quality unless you want to pay a fortune

This soundbar is great value for money giving you a much better sound experience compared to a TVs built in speakers. It functions very well with my Samsung 4k TV via a optical cable (which I chose to avoid any chance of latency) however, the bluetooth connectivity works great with a mobile phone or laptop.

This soundbar is well worth £60. It does everything. Even surround sound. For my 85" TV I don't need anything else.

Easy to connect, and really makes a difference compared to the TV speakers, which sound so tinny and hollow now in comparison. No noticeable lip sync issues, tested both Bluetooth and optical cable (optical cable is not not included). Plenty of volume for music and video, with rich tones and a surprising amount of bass. Easy to connect to phones using NFC feature. It does not have an HDMI input. Some reviews have complained about poor sound quality - this might be because they are not using the correct setting; switching night mode and Voice enhancement on or off makes quite a difference depending on what is being played. The unit is 68mm high (despite the description and unhelpful answers from the seller and other buyers who were just completely wrong😅) so doesn't quite fit comfortably beneath our particular TV, even with it set to its higher position. This isn't a problem though because it can sit just slightly behind and underneath the TV, and sounds fine. The interface for adjusting the sound settings etc. with the remote is a bit awkward and not very intuitive, but I would recommend downloading the PDF manual for the full instructions. Really pleased with the Samsung C400 overall, and for £89.99 it seems to be a good budget upgrade option.

Very disappointing! I have many samsung products in my home and this is by far the poorest. It's fairly simple to control via my Samsung TV but the sound quality is awful. I have had this soundbar for a month and have given it a good go but frankly it will be in the bin as soon as my new one turns up. I really love my Samsung products but this is nothing better than landfill. I won't sell it forward as I wouldn't feel good about selling on such rubbish. Come on Samsung, you must know this product is not fit for purpose.
