Using this with barium chloride to test my stash of potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate. Container labels are gone with the wind.Bottle itself is impressively packed. Sealed plastic bag inside another sealed plastic bag, inside a box stuffed with those big rice puffs. I like effective leak protection for a chemical product.

It is what it is, pretty much a lifetime supply of hci for my use, which is copper plating, because I only use ONE DROP per batch. I've used it and it works, so the listing is accurate and the seller is doing a good job.

There was a small issue with shipment, Stellar Chem. Corp. was extremely helpful and quick to resolve the complication. Highly recommend, products are as described.

I opened this bottle and then put it up and the lining of the cap completely decomposed into the bottle and it corroded everything in the cabinet that was metal. Great product but transfer it to a glass container and seal it in a plastic bag after opening.

Strong/powerful HCL. Fuming HCL; so use in a well ventilated area, with a full face respirator or with an exhaust hood.

After loosening part of the foil seal and leaving it in place, it all turned black and fell into the acid within a couple of days. I managed to remove most of that which was floating, but then after a few more days the entire top inside of the cap turned black and fell into the acid, and the acid all turned brown. I'm scared to death now that if I keep this thing around that the entire bottle will dissolve and dump the acid all over the place or fall apart in my hands. I saw a post about Alliance Chemical sells the same product but they put it in a container that is safe so I went to their website and got a better price then what is offered on Amazon.
