Quite solid! Previous can lasted 12 years!
This is going to be my second Rubbermaid trash can. I hope this one is going to be every bit as good as the first one that was given to me that I am going to be replacing. 8, yes, 8 years ago the can was given to me with a crack at the bottom. It managed to hold up, but now has reached a point that the crack has gotten too big and I risk animals trying to get at the trash. The price is reasonable and I'm quite satisfied with the quality. The previous owner had the can for 4 years so I think 12 years is a decent run!
