Hardware House 68-9554 Sunset Bath Set, Oil Rubbed Bronze

We moved into a new apartment but the master bathroom needed more hardware. I could not find any hardware that matched in any store so I came to trusty Amazon and found these. When the package arrived I was a little skeptical because of the packaging but when I opened it and compared to the set already in my bathroom they match perfectly! The finish is good and they also seem very sturdy. I have not had them long enough yet to test their durability but overall I am happy with my selection.

It's absolute bargain for how it looks. Really updates a bathrooms look when used with other simple inexpensive remodel improvements. Feels cheap? Nah! Besides you're not supposed to hang on them!However, the installation instructions absolutely suck for inexperienced do it yourselfers like me.You'll need at least a 30" level which you can buy for cheap at either Lowes or Home Depot. Heck, it beats paying someone else to do it for you, when you can easily do this yourself.Next you'll need self-tapping anchor bolts. I purchased mine at Home Depot. Just take the anchors you receive with your kit, then take them to your hardware store & ask what they recommend as a replacement for self-tapping anchor bolts. You'll need a tape measure to measure 24 inches wide from left side bar hole to right side bar hole. note: I'm not referring to the other 2 holes you'll need to drill. Drill one corner 1st with one hole then the next (RH) corner hole for towel bar rack.Everything else is a breeze to install using just a level & tape measure to center everything. If no room for towel rack or robe hook (the one with pronged upward hooks) Then install round ring about 4ft above floor on center of bathroom door, then use the robe hook (the one with pronged upward hooks) on another door perhaps closet or bedroom & use it to hang a coat or guests coat, just like the bathroom.If confused you may find Youtube helpful, but did not find it useful.Please click yes, if this review truly helped you as it will positively motivate me to continue writing helpful reviews for those who are grateful & rely on reviews like I do.

The towel bar was too long for my space so hubby was able to shorten it with a hacksaw. Beautiful set!

Looks great but unfortunately it is made of plastic. They are actually a satin nickel finish that looks nice. They all seem to hold up well. The only reason I took a stars off is because they are made of plastic. Not a huge deal for the price you pay, but not sure how they will hold up over time. You can't really tell they are plastic by looking at them though. They don't bend with towels on them at all. All in all for the price not bad.Another reason it is only 4 stars is the installation. One thing I would recommend is to use your own anchors. The ones the kit comes with are not very good. In general the instructions are not good. They are not hard to install but you will need a large level for the towell rack.

I just moved into my new house and had a lot of repairs done first. Many things were outdated including in the bathroom so I bought this set to give more of an updated modern feel. I love the look and it was a great value for all the pieces you get!

It's decent but it's cheap quality it's like buying off brand cereal... it's acceptable for a little bit but eventually you'll want to upgrade in a couple months

This set is a great value and easy to install. The instructions are pretty basic, but if you have some DIY experience, you'll be fine. The anchor screws that come with the set aren't the best, so I went to the hardware store and got some better anchor screws that don't get sucked into the drywall as easily. The finish is fine and what I was looking for, but the "heft" of the pieces and the finish are definitely on the more basic end. I installed this set in a 2nd bathroom and they just about meet my expectations for the price. I would go with a higher quality/durability product if I were to install in a primary bathroom, though.

It's a great product for the price with two exceptions. First, the anchors it comes with (as noted by other reviewers as well) are utter garbage. There is a high probability they will simply fall behind your drywall. So, you should give serious consideration to just going to buy new ones. What size? No clue. None of the other reviewers mentioned it, and by that time I was frustrated, so we just used drywall screws and it feels secure on the wall. This has been a complaint of the product for 4 years so it surprises me the company hasn't resolved this issue. I mean, they're plastic anchors. They have to be the cheapest part of the entire kit. Anyway, there is also no template included and the instructions are useless. Most mounted wall items these days come with a template so one can easily mark where to drill the holes. Not this product. It was very frustrating.That being said, the product itself looks nice. This would be a five star product (especially for the price) if the manufacturer included a better small piece of plastic (anchor) and a piece of paper (template). Super cheap to resolve.

Great quality metal set ..... not cheap and well worth the buy , looks awesome

Look nice and go well in my bathroom, but installation was difficult. The anchors included were useless and I had found use my own, which resulted in a lot more drilling than expected. These also didn’t include any instructions, so I had to guess about the drill bit size.

Very nice set for a reasonable price. I like very much a square shape towel bar rod - my towels do not fall down any more.
