Bought this to replace a broken plastic tube for a dust extractor. I can confirm it does the job just fine, although it would be much better suited to a "set and forget" scenario, due to the fragility of the structure. Pros: + Can withstand high suction from a dust extractor (0.135 kPa, 236 litres per second no issue) + Very flexible, but still holds the shape you bend it in. + Doesn't have elastic properties, unlike the plastic ones. + Weighs barely anything + Can compress to a much smaller size. + You can also cut it to size, there's no specified beginning or end material + Looks really nice Cons: - It's actually more like 2 meters, as you'll probably damage it by stretching it further. - The opening edges are very sharp - Very easy to dent, just pulling it to expand will leave imperfections (and sometimes tiny holes) in the structure. - Putting too much strain on an angle will cause it to split and unravel.
