This is a great hedge trimmer for the price. It’s small enough that it’s easy to maneuver, but long enough that it can work through a hedge quickly. It does not come with an extension cord, but as you can see in the attached photo, you just plug one directly into the back of the tool. There is also a somewhat hidden screw that has to be removed in order to place the guard that comes with the trimmer in front of the blades (circled in the attached image.) I do wish that this hedge trimmer came with a cover for the blades so it could be stored more safely and it does have a little bit of trouble getting through thicker or denser branches. However for cleaning up the box woods around my house it does the job just fine and I am very happy with how well it works given how affordable it is. It is much more efficient than trying to trim shrubs by hand with shears.

Purchased 2/26/26 for $39.00 and was delivered 3/3/26 THERE IS NO ATTACHED CORD. Wherever this item will be in use, you'll need an adequate extension cord. A thicker gauge extension cord is required for longer distances. Be aware of the location of the cord in relation to the trimming bar so the cord isn't cut. This 16" hedge trimmer is light enough to use all day. Branches with a 1/4" to 3/8" diameter is probably the maximum ability of this trimmer, which is fine when you're just trimming hedges. I've always liked Black & Decker tools, as they seem to be a quality company. As with any power equipment, the key to safety is proper safety gear. To the uninitiated; gloves, eye protection, and maybe earplugs may be required unless you're as experienced as I am

Works great had big fat out of control bush, cut it bald in no time. Now it can grow fresh and new.

This is a mighty little tool. I have been begging my husband for a while to get me a hedge trimmer, we looked everywhere for one I could handle, easy to use and not heavy. The ones at the big box stores where huge and the only one available that was sized properly, battery operated, was $79 but only for the tool alone. I would still needed to get the battery and the charger, so I would have paid about 200 for everything. So I said to him at the store, never mind I look on Amazon. Right there in the parking lot I bought this one. I got it the next day and went to town with it. I loved it! Then my husband took it from me and finished the job. He was amazed at how good it trimmed my bushes. Definitely recommend and if the one I bought breaks, I’ll buy it again.

Es una herramienta muy ligera y facil de usar. La sacas de la caja y a trabajar. Eso sí, hay que ser muy cuidadoso al usarla para evitar accidentes.

Me gustó mucho, acabo es estrenarlo. Ahorra tiempo a la hora del corte, menos esfuerzo himano, es amigable en que no corta de más, no es como los desbrozadores de hilo qué si no tiene cuidado corta hasta la raíz, es ligera, las hojas cuchillas son gruesas. El único detalla NO trae cable. Me salvó que tengo una desbrizadora de la misma marca y pude conetarle ese cable, para que lo consideren a la hora de la compra. El empaque es perfecto para poder guardarlo despues del uso y no ocupa mucho espacio.
