Super Duper Extra Deluxe Essential Handbook (Pokémon) (Pokémon)

My Pokemon loving son has memorized this book! Full of lots of facts and characters. Also he has found some minor mistakes it did not detract from the book as a whole.

Our 6 year old just LOVED this book. He couldn’t fully read it but it helped him try. This is what was popular and he loved researching each Pokémon. I have to say, he pulled me in several times to tell me about some of the characters. I really recommend this book if your child is into Pokemon.

This book is a lot bigger, thicker, and a lot more well made than expected. If you like Pokemon, this is a great book for you.

This book certainly lives up to its title. It's indeed a super duper essential encyclopedia handbook of all the Pokemon up to this current ninth gen (minus Legends ZA). The way that it's laid out and organized is so helpful. I can't pinpoint when I first started to lose track of all the Pokemon in existence. It must have happened without me realizing it, but it was inevitable now that there are over a thousand Pokemon. And even though I've never stopped playing every Pokemon main series game since the start, I must not have been paying attention in my play-throughs of the recent games, because somebody tell me why it is that I was flipping through this book discovering all sorts of Pokemon (Brambleghast?? Huh?). It would have been nice had the book included which game the Pokemon originated in for some helpful context. I really appreciate that this book included all the different regional and battle forms that have been introduced across the generations. It is so hard to keep track these days, especially if you aren't purchasing the DLC content of the newer games and are now discovering so many variations or mega-evolutions and what not that you didn't know existed. It's a shame this book will be outdated in a year's time when Pokemon Winds and Waves is released in 2027, but while we're in this lull between generations, I'm glad to have this book to re-familiarize myself on all the Pokemon. It's also so nice having something physical and offline. There are times I want to look up a Pokemon without having to deal with embedded website ads and pop-ups. If this book had included Pokemon battle stats or movesets, this would have been a 10/10 product. But as is, I can't fault it for much.

Our 5 year old hasn’t been able to put this down since she got it. Extremely fun and informational. Great for learning to read!

This is like an encyclopedia of pokemons. My son treasures this book. Great for beginner fans to get to know pokemons- names, types, what they evolve to, their strengh and weaknesses, and etc.

Kids love it! Wish it was in numeral order rather than alphabetical but thats not a huge deal. Great book!

The book is good for 7 years old. But these is not much educational value due to it is animation. It is good for imagination as kids growing up. I still recommend it for everyone.

It’s very complete. It’s awesome. My son has, however, discovered some mistakes in the categories ascribed to the pokemon.

This was a fantastic purchase for my 7 year old Pokemon obsessed son. Great illustrations. Great detail. Very thorough reference book that my son regularly uses (and reads!). The Pokemon are sorted in alphabetical order so that's also a huge bonus. My son is not only reading, but also learning how to find his favourite characters alphabetically. This book has provided months & months of enjoyment. So good in fact, have purchased as a birthday gift for several of his friends.

This was a lot thicker then I thought. I really like it.
