Fitment: BMW R 1200 GS (2013-current), BMW R 1200 GS Adventure (2014-current). Color: Silver. Although BMW made drastic changes for the 2013 model the R 1200 GS has always been a bike built for the long haul. Make sure to pack everything you need for adventures long and short with an AltRider Luggage Rack. The versatile AltRider Luggage Rack is as functional as it is stylish. It is the only design on the market that can be ed directly to the passenger handle or in a lower position to bring down the center of gravity neither require additional brackets or subframes. When ed in the lower position the rear luggage rack has the added bonus of providing protection for the rear blinkers if the bike goes down. The rack attaches using provided hardware and existing bolt holes. All fasteners are recessed in the rack creating a completely smooth luggage surface. The cutouts are strategically placed to give plentiful ing points while maintaining the strength of the rack. Pre-drilled holes allow the AltRider Luggage Rack to interface with RotopaX fuel packs and RAM s for getting great actions s with your camera. Givi Top Cases can also be ed using the Givi Top Case ing Kit - saving you the cost of an expensive adapter plate. The AltRider Rear Luggage Rack is precision manufactured from 3/16 inch (4.76 mm) anodized aluminum. All edges are laser cut and CNC-routered to ensure a refined machine finish with no sharp corners to cut straps. The Rear Luggage Rack is compatible with BMW Vario side cases when ed in the upper position only. It is compatible with the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure ed in the lower position (requires removal of stock steel top box rack - compatible with steel pannier racks). Interfaces with RotopaX RAM s and Givi Top Cases (requires Givi Top Case ing Kit). Confirmed to work with Jesse luggage system in both upper and lower positions.
