Quality material!
Have an old rocking chair i must have picked off of someone’s lawn on trash day, but I’ve never upholstered anything. I watched a couple of you tube videos and used this material as straps to support a back and bottom cushion- along with a strap stretcher (?) these deep brown straps look good and worked well!

Great quality, no fraying
This is great quality, there is little to no fraying even after being cut. I still use a flame to melt the edges after each cut but there are very few hanging threads to be seen. It is thick, does not seem to stretch, and feels like it will last for a long time. The color is a dark black as it is supposed to be. So many different uses for this kind of material, I'm glad I have a lot left over for future use.

Good quality - Easy to sew and rivet
This is the second time ordering strapping from Strapworks. Both orders are to replace old worn strapping on ratchet tie downs. Sewing the strap is easy. I use a Brother CE8080 with a "walking Foot" attachment and polypropylene thread for upholstery; which doesn't stretch. Where the two pieces meet, sew a line at the edges ( a square or rectangle) and an "X" in the middle. As to riveting: To reinforce the sewing I used 3/16" aluminum blind rivets with washer backers. Four of the straps I've replaced are ratcheting tie downs used to anchor a tubular steel carport canopy frame to the cement driveway with cement sleeve anchors. Also, after replacing the cover fabric twice in one year due to wind damage, I installed corrugated roofing panels to the frame instead. Three additional straps are wrapped over the outside and bolted to the ground to keep the panels tight to the frame. We've already weathered a 65 mile-an-hour dust storm in Phoenix just last week. My neighbor's palm tree was blown down on top of his truck. But, my carport? The strapping held as if the wind wasn't blowing at all. Good stuff, this. Better that the original strap that came on the tie downs.

Just what I needed for my apron straps.
I was making a shop apron and needed some wide webbing to make the straps for it. This was what I settled on and I'm very happy with it. It is very sturdy and doesn't twist. It holds its shape and position well. It is very heavy duty. With other webbing I am able to sew through three layers when I'm making straps. With this stuff I was only able to sew through two layers. I have a Janome HD 3000 sewing machine and it can handle some surprisingly heavy stuff with lots of layers, but it just couldn't do more than two layers of this stuff. That's alright though as these straps won't be bearing any serious weight and I won't be using them for safety, just hold up an apron with up to a dozen or so small tools. I will definitely buy more when I run out of this first roll.

Great to replace webbing on outdoor sofa and chairs
I have a patio sofa and chair set that is about 16 years old. We finally decided to do something about the old sagging webbing. After doing some research I ordered this webbing for the job. The webbing was easy to work with and seems very durable. We used a hot knife to cut the pieces and that worked perfectly to seal the ends. We were very happy with the results and hope to get several years out of this new webbing. Definitely worth it after I saw the prices of new patio sets!

Seems perfect
This webbing was so much cheaper than anything I could find locally that I was prepared for it to be junk. But I was pleasantly surprised. Nice and thick, with a reassuring amount of stiffness while still being plenty pliable to work with. I used it to lash barrels to my picnic table boat, and I am confident they'll be strong enough to hold forever, and durable enough to stand up to some friction dragging the thing around the shore.

Great product. I'm trying to buy more in a different colour. However, you don't have enough stock added to it. How can I ask you to buy more?
