Look no more this one is like a high end pen!
I’ve tried this lovely pen in both the fine and extra fine nib. Love both but for my personal use extra fine worked best! I love this pen, the weight is just right. Writes smoothly in either nib, and is very well crafted. I’ve researched and looked a several in person. This one is classic in style, has everything you need to get started. Comes with cartridges and an inverter to use bottled ink if you like. Ink stores well in the pen and you don’t worry about running out. This one is a winner! Looks, feels and writes like much higher end fountain pen. Excellent value!

Fabulous writing and styling!
An absolutely stunning pen! Not only does it look great but it writes great - no skipping or dry starts, just smooth, flowing ink from this impressive German Nib. It compares very favorably to my Waterman and Mont Blanc fountain pens and is every bit as smooth and reliable. It feels comfortable in the hand whether posted or un-posted. Fit and finish are second to none!

Beautiful Fountain Pen
This is about as lovely a fountain pen as you can get. It writes sooo smoothly and looks absolutely gorgeous. It pulls the ink to the tip beautifully, and it doesn't leak. This pen glides across the paper. It has a little "heft" to it without being heavy or weighed down. Everything you could possibly want in a fountain pen. I have been using it all the time since I bought it as a Christmas present for myself. In fact, I was using it so much that I just set it down on my side table along with my journal in a place where my puppy could jump up and get to it. And yes, she did what puppies do and chewed the barrel of my gorgeous new pen. The good news is that her puppy teeth only dented the barrel. The converter still works perfectly, and so does the pen. The only damage is to the aesthetics. Even though it's a pretty good story to have about your much-loved fountain pen, I also loved the way it used to look! Well, this story has a very happy ending. I reached out to Scriveiner customer service and explained what happened. They're sending me a replacement. So... five stars for this pen, all the way around. Five stars for the way it writes, five stars for the way it looks, and five stars for their excellent customer service. (Thank you Catherine!) If you love fine writing instruments, do not hesitate to get this pen. And keep it away from your puppy.

Great starting point fountain pen
This was my first fountain pen, and I can say that it’s a great entry point to the hobby. The pen feels and looks great in hand, the British green is stunning in the sunlight. I have used multiple brands and ink colors in the pen and all have flowed well. I don’t notice any color deterioration of inks over time in the converter. I have also had no dry out issues. The pen sits on my desk for sometimes over a week and still flows well right away. I would say that it is a smaller skinnier pen so if you have huge hands it may not fit well, but for me it works great. If you’re considering this pen, give it a try! I thoroughly enjoy mine.

Classy, reliable, and impressive pen that delivers great value
This is a beautifully made fountain pen that feels luxurious, well-balanced, and professional right out of the box. The black lacquer finish looks elegant, and the real gold accents give it a premium, executive-style appearance that makes it perfect for office use or as a gift. The Schmidt medium nib writes smoothly with consistent ink flow, and the pen feels comfortable in hand for longer writing sessions. The converter works well, and the gift box presentation is excellent — it truly feels like a high-end product. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the nib needed a short break-in period to reach its smoothest performance, and the grip section can feel slightly slick during extended writing. Overall, though, this is a classy, reliable, and impressive pen that delivers great value for the price and makes a fantastic gift or everyday professional writer.

Smooth and fast writing
A few years ago I tried a Scriveiner roller ball pen. It is a great looking and great writing pen. Based upon that good experience, I tried this Scriveiner fountain pen. This pen does not disappoint. I like the slightly heavy weight of the pen, it feels like I am holding something substantial. It is a great size, comfortable in the hand. It has a smooth finish yet remains easy to hold. It is functional and writes fast. The fine nib is excellent for taking notes, drafting essays, writing in a thought journal, or any writing that requires smooth flow without interruptions. It has not leaked in the slightest. Considered a mid-range pen, it quickly became one of my favorite "go to" pens.

Beautiful pen and great service, but a few quirks
I had ink flow issues initially, but the seller quickly sent a replacement. The new pen has much better quality control, the cap seals way better so it solves the hard starts. It is a gorgeous, solid pen, but if you are an enthusiasts, consider a few things in mind: - Slippery grip: The polished metal gets slick if your hands sweat, making long writing sessions tiring. - Stiff nib: The steel nib is smooth but has absolutely zero bounce or flex. - Go with the Medium: Their Fine nibs run very wet and wide anyway. You won't get a crisp, thin line, so you might as well get the Medium for a much smoother experience. Overall, it makes a fantastic gift, but reconsider if you looking for pure writing experience.

Beautiful, quality pen
ETA: Do not load this pen with long cartridges! I have had to dig two Waterman long cartridges out of this pen with tweezers. They fit in with no problem, but they don't fit out. Stick with a standard Scriveiner cartridge. Or use the converter. My first fountain pen. Not my last, but I am as likely to use this as a much more expensive pen. It writes beautifully. The deep red color is quite elegant. It is well balanced in the hand and posts, although my tiny hand can't manage any pen posted.. Loading it is very easy. This really feels like a quality pen. It won't replace an E95s, but it's a great daily pen. I love this pen and would definitely recommend it.
