Tune 720BT - Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with JBL Pure Bass Sound, Bluetooth 5.3, Up to 76H Battery Life and Speed Charge, Lightweight, Comfortable and Foldable Design (White)

Ordered these around November 10th, delivered as indicated on 12th, packed well & arrived in good shape. I immediately put them on a charger as indicated prior to use. I usually am up 2 to 3 hours prior to my wife. The 13th I paired these with the Dish 3 Hopper. Most days since, I used these an hour or two to watch recordings of shows. Today is February 25th & I got the 1st notice of low power. I have put them back on the charger for 1st time since the original arrival charge. I rate these 5 Stars for living up to time between charges. Note, using several hours at a time, versus 1 or 2 may increase rate of discharge. Performance listening to music is also excellent. I was also pleased with quality on listening to YouTube Music in 8D & greater tunes. I lost a lot of hearing in left ear in Vietnam. I swear in those songs, my left ear appears to be working again. Again, 5 Stars for audio performance for Music & TV Shows/Movies. I find these headphones great for comfort & they fit over my ears fine. However, one having larger ears than I may find a tighter fit. Other reviewers have noted this. For me, 5 Stars for comfort! Only nit I'd pick, is this model does not support showing remaining power level in the App. However, headphones do have a verbal low power warning. I received this today with about 40 minutes left in a TV recording. I was able to finish watching it with a couple more warning. I turned headphones off at end & put them on the charger. Despite App not showing power left, the verbal warning is sufficient. I would like to see JBL indicate in specifications that this model does not support sending App Power Level Remaining. Still, would rate 5 Stars overall with this one caveat.

I really like these headphones. They cancel out the noise very well and they are comfortable to wear. The blue tooth connection was simple to setup and it works flawlessly. The sound is great. Maybe I am not the best evaluator of headphones because I do not use them a lot, but I feel like I received great value for these inexpensive headphones.

The battery life on these headphones is superb. I've been using them pretty heavily, and they're still at 60% charge after a couple of weeks. The audio quality is great, and the controls are easy to use. They fit comfortably over my ears. No noise cancellation, but that's good. They still block out a decent amount of ambient noise.

After 7 months it’s time to write a review. I got these on sale and they’re worth the money. They connect to different devices fast and easily. The battery life is long lasting for over two weeks long. They’re sturdy especially since I just throw mine in my bag after a long day. I love the color. Easy to clean with some alcohol after getting pencil marks on them. Sound quality is amazing

The JBL TUNE 720BT headphones are a good, but not perfect. I think they were a decent deal at the sale price of $59.99. But it’s a different proposition at the regular price of $89.99 for two reasons: comfort and stiff competition from more economical brands. The sound profile is excellent, as would be expected from JBL. As others have stated, it can be described as a “bass forward” sound. It is noticeable at times, but not a deal breaker. I have used the excellent EQ in the accompanying JBL app to reduce the bass frequencies slightly to taste on some music. Note that the position of the ear pads on the ears greatly influences the bass. The phones produce a wide, encompassing sound stage with a noticeable sense of depth. You’ll enjoy rediscovering music with these headphones. Speaking of the ear pads, as others have noted, these feel more like “on ear” headphones rather than the advertised “over ear” type due to their size. This, in combination with a slightly firm clamping force, does affect comfort, but not necessarily in a bad way…just in a different way. They do feel snug. For some, it may be too much depending on your preference. Both the ear pad size and the clamping force provide an adequate amount of sound isolation from outside noise. These are not ANC headphones. If that’s a deal breaker, the nearly identical TUNE 770s are available for about $30 more. More on those below. As I mentioned above, competition from less expensive brands would give me pause if considering these phones at the regular price. I’ve been pleased with TOZO brand earbuds. Great quality for the price. If not for catching the JBL 720s on sale, I might have given the TOZO HT3 a try. I’ve been impressed with TOZO sound quality in their earbuds, especially for the price. I mentioned the JBL 770 NC headphones above. They are the 720’s ANC cousin. I tried them and decided not to purchase at the sale price of $99.99. The 770s had even stronger clamp force that made them uncomfortable, at least for me. Additionally, the ANC on the 770s was disappointing when listening at lower levels. The ANC processing actually raised the noise floor noticeably with a different noise when listening at lower levels. It was no better than listening without ANC. The 720s provide enough acoustical sound isolation in office environments without the discomfort of the 770s. PROS: - Excellent sound profile - Great EQ in the JBL app - Extremely long battery life - 3.5 connection when wired connection is needed - better than adequate acoustic sound isolation. - Legendary JBL quality - Performs well on calls CONS: - snug fit might be uncomfortable to some - Ear pads are more “on ear” than “over ear.” - - Some may find this uncomfortable. - “Bass forward” characteristic might be a turn off for some - A little pricey compared to lesser known brands like TOZO. VERDICT: The JBL TUNE 770s are a good purchase when on sale, but face stiff competition from lesser known brands when they’re not.

Sound effects are way better

First time i got this was a year ago and fell to the ground which caused the hinge, holding one of the ear pads, to break. Got it again 15 days ago and this time the same hinge got broken while my headphones were at my handbag !!!
