Mini Plane
Though the resulting plane is tiny, the build is very fulfilling. On a recent road trip, it was just the right size to occupy off hours in the hotel room. It offers two canopy options and two build options, one in a static display, the other in an "in flight" mode. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the fuselage, a hole in a base, and connected the two with a clear rod salvaged from the canopy sprue. It gives the impression of flying over a map of the Pacific Theater, the area in which the fighter was deployed with great success and where Capt. Richard Bong qualified as one of the greatest American aces of WW2
