I ordered this as a result of starting to WFH. The screen is a good size for reading documents and working on apps such as excel, and it very good quality. I haven't used it for much else to cannot comment on refresh rate etc. The screen is quite durable as I have knocked it over when moving the desk before, and no damage was done. I would recommend this screen if you want to use it for working from home!

OK it's an early review. - 3 weeks - for 24 inch version. I find this sort of review hard to quantify - I'm comparing a new 2025 monitor with a 10 year + one which failed. Technology has moved on - so hard to compare. All I can say is - at the price point I bought this monitor at I'm very impressed. Sharp graphics - Great colour contrast - and for this price decent sound. I don't want to use the word basic - but for a lowish cost monitor - early impression is excellent. Only con I can find is - yes I'm an idle sod - but when it goes to sleep (rather than turning it off) - does it really need to 'display' a sleep light (amber)? When it goes to sleep just turn the light off guys.

I bought this for my home office and it’s been a solid upgrade. The picture quality is sharp and clear, with bright, accurate colours and good viewing angles. Text is crisp, and it’s easy on the eyes during longer work sessions thanks to the low blue light mode and adjustable brightness. The 100Hz refresh rate gives everything a noticeably smoother feel, especially when multitasking or scrolling through documents. Setup was quick — it connected via HDMI and worked straight away with no issues. The speakers are low quality, but that’s pretty standard for built-in monitor audio. I don’t use them anyway, so it’s not something that bothers me. Overall, this is a great monitor for anyone setting up a home office or just looking for a reliable screen for everyday use. The monitor comes with all the cables required. The screen is balanced to Ben Q's standard which is not far from the result obtained via my Spyder Screen Calibration Device. Up to three screen calibrations can be stored in the monitors settings. The built-in sound is a little quiet for my taste and lacks the depth of tone required for best enjoyment. There is however a 3.5mm jack that allows connection to a remote speaker so better sound is easily obtained with the monitor switching automatically to the remote speaker. Although advertised as SRGB the monitor is, in my opinion, perfectly suitable for photographic retouching and I noticed no difference between the viewed spectrum of this monitor and the professional quality monitor I use daily and which sits beside it.

At around £75 when i bought this monitor I am very happy I bought it for a very specific purpose which is to use with the cycling training application Zwift in my garage so I didn't want to spend a lot given where it was going to be used It replaced a very old 17" unit so at 24" its much better. The computer picked it up automatically and changed to 1920*1080/60Hz by default (using an NVidia 1650 GPU). I tried setting the graphic card to 75Hz refresh which it did with no problem but I couldn't detect any difference in use (and Zwift runs at a maximum of ~50fps on my PC anyway so I didn't need that higher setting) Very happy with the picture quality out of the box and I have made no adjustments at all. very crisp and flicker free. Ready for use about 5secs after powering on which is good as well I already have some other BENQ monitors and am pleased with those which is partly why I selected this unit 5 Stars for the monitor But - got the delivery notification that left with neighbour bit when I went to get it they had no knowledge of it. With no Amazon driver "failing to deliver" caught on our security camera it was pretty obvious that the Amazon driver has a new monitor so I had to ring up and complain - its tricky to navigate the Amazon automated customer service system but you can get to speak to a real person with persistence. And to be fair once I spoke to a real person another monitor was agreed to be sent FOC straight away, although it took another 3 days to arrive. Its the first time I have ever had anything like that from an Amazon delivery and it did leave a bad taste even though rectified quickly So 1 Star for delivery and 5 Stars for customer service

Bought a slightly larger Benq monitor for the office a number of years ago and found it to be good quality and not had any issues. Never heard of the brand before this but since the office has moved to my home I needed a second monitor for a laptop to sit along side for other. Out the box it was five minutes to set up with the stand clicking into place. The included hmdi cable was a surprise as not expecting it. First impression is very good with the colours seeming slightly brighter than the older Benq next to it. For the price it's just the job.

Im loving the item, the picture quality is amazing and its really easy to set up. The sound quality is good and its easy to connect consoles too which is why i wanted it (Enjoy my photos of what i was playing and watching before writing this)

I purchased this a couple days ago to pair up with my macbook pro m4 to be used as an external monitor along side my macbook. I have to say, for the price it's absolutely incredible and was super easy to set up. I'm in awe how they are able to put together such a good quality monitor for the price. I would recommend anyone to purchase this item if they are looking for one :)

Ich habe mir den BenQ GW2490E 24 Zoll Monitor speziell für meinen HomeOffice-Arbeitsplatz angeschafft, da ich einen zuverlässigen, augenschonenden und preislich attraktiven Bildschirm gesucht habe – und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Lieferung und Verpackung Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell und der Monitor kam sicher und gut verpackt bei mir an. Alle Komponenten waren ordentlich verstaut, sodass Transportschäden ausgeschlossen werden konnten. Im Lieferumfang war alles enthalten, was man für den sofortigen Start benötigt – ein HDMI-Kabel, Stromkabel sowie die nötige Dokumentation. Hinweis für alle, die lieber über DisplayPort arbeiten: Ein entsprechendes Kabel liegt nicht bei und muss separat gekauft werden. Design und Verarbeitung Der Monitor besteht vollständig aus Kunststoff, was zunächst vielleicht weniger hochwertig klingt. Doch in der Praxis wirkt das Material alles andere als billig. Die Verarbeitung ist durchweg sauber und solide, nichts knarzt oder wackelt. Der Standfuß ist ebenfalls aus Kunststoff gefertigt, bietet aber dennoch ausreichend Stabilität. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der dünne Rahmen (Thin Bezel), der dem Monitor ein modernes, fast rahmenloses Erscheinungsbild verleiht – ideal auch, wenn man später ein Multi-Monitor-Setup plant. Inbetriebnahme und Kompatibilität Der Aufbau war in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Ich nutze den Monitor in Kombination mit einem HP EliteBook, der über HDMI angeschlossen wurde. Der Bildschirm wurde sofort und ohne jegliche Treiberprobleme erkannt. Auch die integrierten Lautsprecher wurden vom System direkt übernommen – natürlich darf man hier keine HiFi-Qualität erwarten, aber für Videocalls oder gelegentliches Anhören von Podcasts sind sie völlig ausreichend. Bildqualität und Nutzungserfahrung Das IPS-Panel liefert ein scharfes, farbtreues und blickwinkelstabiles Bild. Mit 100Hz Bildwiederholrate läuft das Bild angenehm flüssig – ein echter Pluspunkt, sowohl im Arbeitsalltag als auch beim gelegentlichen Gaming. Selbst bei schnellen Bewegungen in Spielen wirkt das Bild stabil und klar. Ich arbeite im Dachgeschoss, wo es vor allem im Sommer sehr warm werden kann. Dennoch konnte ich keinerlei Überhitzung oder Leistungseinbußen feststellen. Die smarte Helligkeitsanpassung sorgt außerdem dafür, dass das Bild auch bei wechselnden Lichtverhältnissen stets angenehm bleibt. Besonders schätze ich die Eye-Care-Technologie von BenQ – längeres Arbeiten ist spürbar entspannter für die Augen, was sich insbesondere nach einem langen Arbeitstag bemerkbar macht. Fazit Für den aktuellen Preis ist der BenQ GW2490E meiner Meinung nach nahezu unschlagbar. Wer einen zuverlässigen, augenschonenden und gleichzeitig auch gamingtauglichen Monitor sucht, wird hier fündig. Ich überlege ernsthaft, mir ein zweites Modell zuzulegen, um meine Produktivität im HomeOffice noch weiter zu steigern. Ein durchweg gelungenes Gesamtpaket – klare Kaufempfehlung! Monitor economico ma di buona qualità, adatto ad utilizzo lavorativo senza eccessive pretese. Buoni livelli di luminosità e nitidezza. Per adesso mai avuto problemi.

Ich habe mir den BenQ GW2490E Monitor bestellt, weil ich etwas günstiges aber gutes für den Alltag gesucht habe – und ich bin echt überrascht, wie viel man hier bekommt: Das gefällt sehr gut: Die Bildqualität ist bei Full HD absolut klar und ausreichend scharf – perfekt fürs Surfen, Office-Arbeit und Filme schauen. Die 100 Hz Bildwiederholrate merkt man insbesondere bei der Mausbewegung oder Scrollen – wirkt flotter und angenehmer als ältere 60 Hz Monitore. Farben und Blickwinkel sind akzeptabel: Bei seitlichem Betrachten kaum Einbußen, das Schwarz ist nicht ultra tief, aber für den Preis mehr als in Ordnung. Kein unangenehmes Flimmern, und die Augen-Schonfunktionen von BenQ helfen, längere Nutzungszeiten komfortabler zu gestalten. Verarbeitung wirkt solide; keine wackeligen Teile, Fuß stabil genug, Rahmen schmal – sieht auch optisch okay aus. Mögliche Nachteile / worauf man einstellen sollte: Wer super tiefe Schwarztöne oder High-End Gaming will, könnte bei diesem Modell an Grenzen stoßen – das IPS-Panel bietet nicht ganz das Kontrastverhältnis wie teurere Displays. Beim Anschluss mehrerer Geräte und hochauflösender Signale (z. B. 4K, obwohl der Monitor nur Full HD kann) sind die Möglichkeiten begrenzt. Einstellmöglichkeiten könnten besser sein (z. B. Höhenverstellung fehlt, Standfuß fix). Kein eingebauter Lautsprecher bzw. nur rudimentäre – wenn man Sound erwartet, muss man mit externen Lösungen arbeiten. Fazit: Für mich absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man ein gutes Display zum fairen Preis sucht. Alltags-Tauglichkeit + solide Bildqualität + angenehme 100 Hz – für diese Klasse bekommt man hier echt viel geboten. 5 Sterne von mir!

Realmente satisfecha, lo compré por oferta a 89,99€, un precio bastante competente. La review que voy a hacer es desde un punto de vista de usuario promedio. Si eres gamer mi opinión no creo que te sirva, pero jugaría durante horas a los Sims con esta pantalla sin problema. A favor: ✅ Su tamaño de 24” es realmente cómodo, es una pantalla lo bastante grande para trabajar pero no excesivamente. Yo venía de un Dell de 22” y agradezco el par de pulgadas extra. ✅ Puede que todas las pantallas te parezcan muy parecidas, pero NO: fíjate en los Hercios (Hz), he visto otras pantallas muy similares a esta, muchas de ellas traían 75Hz, esta trae 100. Es una diferencia notable, ya que ofrece mucha más calidad de visión. Para que lo tengas en cuenta, una pantalla gaming va de 120 a 240Hz, así que 100 no está nada mal si es para un uso de oficina. ✅ También trae una protección para evitar la vista cansada. Puedes regular brillo e intensidad a través de los botones que encontrarás justo en el marco inferior, están bien pensados. Su colocación está justo debajo del marco, con lo cual nos ahorramos toques accidentales e incluso apagarla. ✅ Al contrario que otras pantallas esta no tiene ninguna clase de reflejo, puedes poner al lado un punto de luz y no va a molestarte, no es como otras que traen un acabado tipo brillo espejo y son realmente molestas. ✅ El montaje es realmente fácil, si bien no puedes regular la altura de la pantalla como tal, permite moverla unos centímetros hacia delante o hacia atrás. ✅ En la caja encontrarás un cable HDMI para que puedas conectarla. Trae 2 puertos hdmi y 1 Display Port. Teniendo en cuenta que cada vez los productos vienen con menos accesorios, que traiga el cable es todo un detalle. 🛑 Si vas a conectar la pantalla a través de Display Port tendrás que pedir un cable, los encuentras aquí mismo de la gama basics a un precio asequible. 🛑 EDITO: sí trae altavoces, aunque no de una calidad excelente, sí lo bastante para salir del paso. Muy contenta con el hallazgo. ➡️ En resumen: si vas a darle un uso de oficina o bien doméstico, de usuario promedio, con alguna partida ocasional, por el precio es una gran compra en comparación con otras opciones que traen menos por el mismo precio e incluso superior.
