Milsek Antiques & Restoration Polish with Lemon Oil & Microfiber Cleaning Towel, 12-Ounce, ART-1, Yellow, Antique Cleaner & Cloth

I bought this to clean the frets on my koa Kamaka baritone uke. After cleaning with 0000 steel wool, wipe down with damp cloth, then applying Milsek, it brought back the lustere it had when it was first purchased in 1975. Even more telling was it's playability. Fingers glide a lot smoother, bringing forth a sound I had all but forgotten. I always wiped it down after playing and I was surprised by the amount of dirt and crud that was still on it. Since it worked so well on my uke, I've used on my Ovation guitars, a 6 & a 12 string, and the results were just as good. The really nice thing about this oil, it's natural, and a little dab goes a long way.

It made my furniture look like new. I used a paper towel to put it on and the oak did not need to be wiped but my other furniture did and I used the cloth that came with it to wipe it with. A lot of minor scratches disappeared. I am very happy with it my furniture looks great

A very long time ago I purchased a couple of antique pieces that needed to be "cleaned up". I stopped by an antique store to see what they recommended. They gave this item their top recommendation. About 20 years ago a friended was moving out of town to be with her aged parents and asked me to keep her antique dining room furniture and a couple more antique pieces so I used it again. Every now and then I would use it on the mahogany furniture I had purchased. A friend was moving out of state and gave me her "old" dining room suite so my friend picked up her furniture that I had been using all these years. It still looked in prime condition. The old pieces I was given had something used on them that left them sticky. I tried Murphy's soap but that didn't work. I also tried other things that didn't work. I still had a small amount left in the original bottle. It was enough for me to know that I should purchase another bottle to take off the stickiness because it worked. Whatever she used also apparently caused the pieces to have a distinct odor. I have kept all the drawers open and have been treating that too. I have never had that problem with this product.

Had to air out my furniture as it gets into the dry crevice to restore but strong sm3ll. I had to put in odor absorber.

Very easy to use and not labor intensive. Clean, fresh smell after application and wonderful finish on wood. Older woods that have not been well cared for just absorb the oil in the product and look wonderful afterwr. Could not recommend the product more highly.

A great product for nourishing (and polishing) your wood furniture pieces. Note-doesn't absorb into pieces with a urethane coat (as you would anticipate).

After reading other reviews I decided this would be just the stuff to restore my 1955 wood paneling. It kind of worked, but it smelled so strong for two days that the whole house seemed toxic. Also I found it impossible to get an even coat, it left noticeable streaks. I am guessing that a second coat might even out the finish, but it would have to wait until I can open all the windows. I will try the rest of it on antique clocks as I see the need.

I've used this product for years. If you have a nice piece of furniture and want to avoid refinishing it this is the product for you. I take a plastic 3M plastic scratch remover pad (which comes in different grades) and rub in the direction of the furniture's wood grain with some Milsec oil poured on it. Then wipe off with rag (old t-shirts cut up work great). Best product ever!
