Quantum Mechanics: The Physics of the Microscopic World

this might be called QM for DUMMIES- since even a dummy like me can understand these amazing lectures. I had QM classes from SU and other universities and this is the first time I understand the material.My only complaint would be there's no way to ask questions. He discussed P(spin) and said up = 1 down = 0 and in between a variety of others like .15 and .85. Its confusing that the sum of all P(spin) > 1 ?I have other questions too but no way to ask!

Have just started the DVDs, and am enjoying them. The condition of the items were much better than I expected. Also, I received the order very quickly. Good job!

Fantastic Course for those interested in starting studies of the Quantum World!! Highly recommended!!

I should have known -- what seems to be too good to be true probably is. The first disc of this Teaching Company course was missing. Since the seller was only charging $1.99 or so, I should have had my usual cautions up, but I didn't, probably because I was excited about finding this course. It would have helped if he had stated that this was the case -- maybe he did and I just missed it. I haven't even watched the remaining discs since I would really like to watch the whole thing in correct order. Anyway, caveat emptor.

This is a very good although a bit idioosyncratic introduction to Quantum Mechanics for the beginner.

Excellent all the way around. I would buy from them again. Very satisfied overall.

If you buy the Quantum Mechanics course from The Decluttr Store you will only get part of the course material.The Quantum Mechanics course by Great Courses consists of a set of DVD discs and a printed Guidebook written by the instructor. The Decluttr Store sent the DVD discs but not the printed Guidebook. For a subject as difficult as quantum mechanics the guidebook is essential to learning the material. I notified them the guidebook had not been sent. Their Customer Service consisted of a useless form letter that didn’t even mention the missing guidebook.The two stars are not for the Quantum Mechanics course but for the Decluttr Store for sending half of what they should have and for their ineffective Customer Service.
