Disney Parks MagicBand 2.0 - Link It Later Magic Band (Red)

I think this is a must if you’re going to Disney World, even if not staying on-site (which let’s you link your room and payment account to the band).Even without a hotel room linked, this will hold your tickets to the park — making it very easy to get in and to switch between parks if you’re doing more than one in a day. It will also track your FastPasses and PhotoPasses (which is a nice way to score some picture memories even if you don’t pay for the package). Also, some areas of the park where you’ve scanned in (like the lines to rides) will show little treats like your name on a digital poster or a display screen listing you on a duty roster (tons of magic fun for the kids, and frankly fun for adults, too).It’s comfortable and felt very secure all day, so I didn’t worry I would lose it. The red part of the bracelet will come off from the gray part to make a smaller band if you have tinier wrists or are buying it for a kid.

I had a problem linking this originally and asked a number of sites about that. No one mentioned that you should not add the dashes when linking even though they show the dashes on the page where you have to link the band. Everything is fine now

I typically get my magic bands from Disney, but when I ordered, they were out of red. This band was a little cheaper when you figure cost + shipping from Disney, so I took a chance. It is a new band, and I was able to activate it without issue.

Bought these last minute for my in laws so we didnt have to spend so much time at ticketing by being able to link the magic band ahead of time. Cost was a slight bit higher but well worth the time saved waiting in another line at disney. Band worked great!

The bans was great but I ordered 11 bans I only received 10 the day before we left going to Disney I received a empty package that was delivered to my neighbor house I was so upset I did receive my money back. What a inconvenient.

Bought this for my niece’s first trip to Disney and it was exactly as advertised.

Got this online as it seems to only be sold at the parks. Wanted to surprise my son with his own magic band for our trip. He was excited!

I give only 4 stars, as I would have loved to have the convenience of loading cash or credit card on the band too. It would have been easier than packing a wallet.
