Very cool model but read below please.
I purchased this on February 9th, 2025. I gave it 5 stars because I can't give it 4.5 stars. Just finished today with my brother who lives an hour away and only built it with him. I build a lot of models...plastic, wood, metal, you name it. The half star loss would be because when I received it and started to work it, it smelled REALLY EXTREMELY BAD of production chemicals, bad enough it burned my eyes and really agitated my sinuses. I set the pieces out in my unfinished basement for about 2-3 weeks to let them air out. A lot of pieces are really tiny; it can be frustrating. A LOT of the details you build with it, and there is a tremendous amount of detail in this build, in the beginning get lost in later detail. That is the bad. The good is this is such a detailed, warm model that is well manufactured, cut, imaginative and creative. It is beautiful and so full of really cool detail! The pieces fit together 98% perfectly, well-engineered, measured and cut in good, solid pieces of material that are easily identifiable with the added illustrations of what is what. The smaller pieces can be difficult, the tweezers (included) were immensely helpful; the dinosaur skeleton was a pain in the tookas and had problems with it throughout the build, my "T-Rex" was half wood, half plastic. They include duplicates of the more prone to breaking parts, thumbs up on that. Majority of the "books" were a small piece of wood with a sticker to apply and fold over it, maybe 200 of them? So cool though! Some stickers were of actual books, there was Harry Potter, Phantom of the Opera and so many more to display as you see fit in certain areas. I recommend a lighted magnifying glass and/or a magnifying headset...some of the fittings are literally a millimeter. The small glass Earth globe is beautiful and amazing. Just an enjoyable model to proudly put on your bookshelf or wherever you can safely put it. It is a TEDIUS build. Expect to put some real time into the build and (I think) visitors will really enjoy looking at it because there is SOOO much to look at. The lighting is good. No missing pieces, extras left over. I was frustrated with some of the build but overall...it was enjoyable and viewing it after completion is even more enjoyable. Have fun!

Fun little project
Love this little wooden puzzle. Made of quality pieces that come apart easily and it goes together nicely. Suggest using a small crafting hammer as some of the pieces need a little extra push to set in place. Instructions are clear and detailed, lighting is nice, and seems to be sturdy. I am still in process with it, so I cannot comment yet on the finished piece. Looks great so far. Take your time with it and you will enjoy the results. Can’t wait to see it displayed on my bookcase.

Did you love dioramas as a kid? Then this is for you!
I really enjoyed the intricacies of this project! Everything came out really beautifully! The instructions were clear, the quality is good, and once it was lit up, I was thrilled with the final look. I put on my favorite podcasts and dug into it. The only critiques I have is that I wish they had added extras for the little ladders. I ended up glue repairing one of them, and using some acrylic paint to touch it up. The second one went much better. I really liked the glue this one had. It worked really well. There were no missing pieces. The little book covers were extra neat. Saw a few books that I've enjoyed reading over the years. One of the makers seems to be obsessed with Ernest Hemingway. There was a few spots that seemed to not line up well, but once everything was secured I couldn't have told you where. I have a feeling this will be one of my favorites as I continue collecting them.

Very nice, good quality book nook kit
This is my 6th book nook and I can say I gain different experience with each. The box of this kit was heavier than others and once opened I could see why. Over a dozen boards and a couple plastic ones. Quality is very good thick wood. Pieces came off fairly easy, but in some instances, I still used a small Awl to push them out. Included was another hammer (I’m starting to get a little collection of them), tweezers, file and a small bottle of B-7000 glue so pretty much everything you need. This set is mostly click-in but you will still need the glue in places. On a later note, if there are pieces that fit kind of loosely, I would go ahead and glue them in place. Later, when you start putting all sides together you might need to use the hammer and everything that is not firmly in place will start falling out. Ask me how I know…Some of the tabs I had to sand down a little because I did not want to force them down and risk breaking them, like on the stairs. There is plastic railing also that I ended up glueing in because they kept falling off. Oh, and those plastic pieces have protective film on BOTH sides not just the front side. It comes off easy enough after to scratch the surface some and then use a tweezer to pull it off. Instructions only say to remove film from front so I missed a couple early on pieces, but I did not want to disassemble it either at that point. Instructions are decent enough, but there are a couple instances where it isn’t clear to assemble or not. Also had to zoom in on the pics a couple of times with my camera to clarify some details. Ans the books…there are a lot of books but thankfully these are mostly all with stickers so I just watched TV while assembling all those books (I didn’t count but from my understanding between 250 and 280 books). Now there are some books with pages and I wish they would have used plain paper like I had at the wand shop. These are stickers and are a pain to fold and make it look decent. Should be plain paper that can be folded and glued. There are also some sticker curtains and it looks a bit cheesy but I didn’t have any other material at hand to make better ones so I used those. When it comes to the light string I would go ahead and tag all lights. At the end I got confused and thought I only had a six light string, but I forgot the light I put in right at the beginning where the globe will end up. And one light did not fit through the hole so I had to make it bigger. Overall I loved the build and I am proud of how it looks lit up.

Fun first build, some fragile pieces
This was my very first miniature set I’d ever done so it was a learning curve. The instructions were straight forward. I didn’t like that some of the pieces were pretty fragile, broke, in which I did end up having to super glue them back before I could continue. I think this would be good for older kids as it’s delicate work. I was happy with the finished product overall. The light works well and it’s easy to change the battery out. It was a very satisfying build that holds up well after finished.

Really cute book nook with well explained instructions
This is an intimidating book nook that has a lot of parts however thankfully, the instructions were very easy to follow and clear and the parts were clearly labeled so that makes it manageable. It does take some time to get this all set up but once you get in the flow of things the whole experience is rather positive and calming and makes it a very nice activity to share with the kids or with that significant other. I like the fact that this one comes in different designs so you can collect an entire set. The parts seem to fit well enough. The included glue seems to be sufficient at least in my experience and this is something that I enjoyed working on.

Beautiful Miniature Library
These are so addictive! So fun to build, and comes with everything you need to complete the library. The little book covers even have real book titles on them! Just adorable. Everything pieces together with a satisfying "click" and fits nicely. The instructions are good and go step by step. I love all of the little details. Will definitely be purchasing another!

Well made, easy to assemble.
Easy to separate pieces from the panels. Nice that pieces are already painted, but the colors are a bit dark. I am doing some touch up coloring to add more contrast and color. Instructions are easy to follow. Easy to assemble, but tiny pieces so would be easier with smaller hands. I am finding it is taking me much longer to assemble than the time posted on the box. Relaxing and fun to watch the project take shape.
