Replace outdated Symmons Model A / B
I had both a Symmons Model A (with tub diverter) and Symmons Model B (shower with flow control to use less water) and this new model is a great update. Just undo a few screws and replace. Very easy. Great way to modernize the look. Great quality too, not just plastic. Attached before pic from Symmons A (I'm going to buy a second one for this bathroom with the tub) and the after pic for Symmons B (replaced my shower with flow control)

Turns a dated shower control valve into something great looking, modern and much easier to use
This turns an ugly, dated shower control valve into something great looking, modern and much easier to use. It's very simple to install on an existing Temptrol shower valve - you just need a phillip's screwdriver. Make sure you mount the smaller control arm behind the front plate before snapping plate into place. Update: Some photos. Also - as some have discovered, installing the smaller control handle can be tricky. You need to set it in the small cutout in the larger piece as you clip the larger piece to the plastic holder - in one motion. It does work (just made my head hurt a little...).

Easy installation. Nice quality.
This was so easy to install, took me about 15 minutes at most. I bought this to replace a hideous fixture trim that came with the house I purchased. Looks great. Works great.

Looks great but missing essential tool in the kit
The handle needs a very small Allen wrench to tighten a screw so it doesn’t fall off. It’s a very rare size & should came in the kit. Made the job very difficult to finish. I somehow got it on but now I’m wondering how i will take it off if need to :(

Rohl shower control
This bathroom fixture is beautiful! It controls both the showerhead and the handheld. It's sleek and contemporary and exactly what I wanted. Smooth flat surface so it's easy to clean.

Complete Junk (missing instructions, pieces don’t fit, didn’t have all pieces)
I recently purchased this replacement, and it has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First, it didn’t include the necessary tool that the directions said should be there, making the installation process a frustrating experience. Secondly, the diverter doesn’t fit properly and has to be forced on, which ended up scratching the metal. To make matters worse, it came with no instructions whatsoever. This product is a complete waste of money and time. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable option. Total junk!
