This is my third refurbished cell phone from Amazon and this is truly the best one yet because it's perfect! Screen: completely clean and they put on a screen protector. Body: not a single scratch or bruise. Shipping: Came in 3 days vs the 4 days I was expecting. Conversion from old phone: flawless. We just popped in the chip and it took off all by itself. There's even a game I've played for years and it functioned without any issues. This really exceeded my expectations.

I ordered this phone for my elderly father. I had a lot of difficulty setting up the phone, as it arrived dead and took a long time to charge. Things seemed kind of glitchy at first but I assumed it was because I'm used to iOS. I got it set up and went home (70 miles away). Two days later my dad called asking for help because the phone was inundated with weird pop ups (mind you, I only know what he was able to articulate to me, because when you're close to 80 years old, technology is confusing). He could not answer any calls on the phone. I asked him to wait until I could make another trip to sort the phone out. At that point, the phone started overheating. Impatient, my dad took it to a Verizon store and they told him that the battery was shot, extremely overheated. My dad shut the phone off and let it sit for a while. Fast forward to turning the phone back on and all the same issues kept happening. He couldn't make any calls from the phone and any calls that came in, the phone would not answer them. In frustration over missing calls for two weeks (since we activated the phone), my dad threw it, smashed it and shattered it to smithereens. I clearly couldn't return it for replacement at that point. Probably would have gotten more runaround and aggravation anyway. I've personally had mostly good luck with Amazon pre-owned phones. Unfortunately, this one was a complete loss. It wasn't in the condition that was advertised and showed more visible defects than described and didn't even come with a charging cable. Nothing, just a used and clearly non-functional phone in the box. Dad dug an old flip phone out of the junk drawer and he's using that now and happy as a clam...despite wasting over $200 on this phone and an additional $50 for a case and charging cables that he doesn't need now. I can't recommend the seller that sold this phone. The phone clearly hadn't been tested or inspected. If it had, they would have found the overheating issue immediately.

I am replacing an exact S22, my previous S22 had the battery swell up because I was fast charging a lot and that lasted me the years of 2022-2026, so still not a bad run. 4yrs same phone and no feature issues just the battery. I could really just change the battery. But I read some bad batteries replacements can burn the phone. And I need to transfer my info before that happens. Yes, probably too premature to write the review when its only been 12hrs of use. Using this exact phone right now to write this review. Everything feels fine, no loose covers or weird lagging. No overheating. It came in a plain white cardboard box. With an off brand USB-C cable and SIM port key. No manual just those 3 things. Phone, SIM key and cable. It came with 75% battery, no protective sticker on the screen. Only protective sticker on the edges. Charged it today, normal charge time and normal battery usage. The 1st battery usage did get used to very quickly because I was doing a lot of transferring and updating. Connects like it should, has all the features and feels like it should. No photo of phone because I'm using it. It looks and feels just like it should. Like I never even changed phones at all.

Found a great deal on this S22 rated in Excellent condition in Amazon refurbished products. The s22 looks and works as if it were new. Thank you!
