Looks and Sounds Great
We have been upgrading all of our speakers this past year. Our older ones were completely outdated and a few struggled to work. Anyway, I wanted a speaker that could be plugged into the wall but also had the capability of being portable if need be. This speaker caught my eye. I just really liked the overall look. Then I read the specs and it had features I was looking for. The LCD display is backlit, as well as both VU meters. The audio is 200W RMS power, with a Tri- Amplified System. 2 at 40W and 1 at 120W. It has a 6.5 inch subwoofer, two 2.75 inch dispersion balanced mode radiators, and four auxiliary bass radiators. We can connect via Bluetooth, USB playback that supports mp3, wav, FLAC files up to 64GB, and AUX. There is also a FM radio with analog tuning and presets to quickly get to our favorite stations. The remote has a good range and is ultra convenient. There is a Party Sync feature where we can connect 100 speakers at once. That seems excessive for our needs, but we did try it out with 3 additional speakers. Even 3 extra ones got pretty loud. Thankfully, it was during the day and most of our neighbors weren't home. 😂 There are definitely uses for that and it's a bonus to have. However, that won't be a feature we use regularly. It comes with a strap to carry it around, though we set it up on our record player stand. It's a tad large for the stand we have, so I'm looking for a larger unit that looks more like furniture. The strap is very handy if we do need to take it anywhere. Overall, it was easy to use, paired quickly, and has clear sounds and deep bass.

A Great Brand Name Deserves Better
The battery never charged, so I couldn’t use the speaker in my garden as I had planned. The sound quality is poor, with noticeable distortion. The radio never worked either. The screen is very small, and navigating the menu is cumbersome, making it unnecessarily difficult to switch between the radio, Bluetooth, bass, and treble settings. The analog-style decibel needles look nice, but they’re basically just decorative. What good are they if the core features don’t work? I ended up returning it. I really wanted to like it, and it may work for someone who’s willing to put up with all these flaws. But for a $300 speaker, I expected much better. They revived the name of a well-respected brand from the ‘90s, but this product doesn’t come close to the quality that brand was once known for.

Not worth it, FM reception is weak, clock runs fast, doesn't sound as good as the previous model
It's ok if you can get it on sale. Otherwise, pass. The sound is OK, but it can't touch a JBL or even the older EXOS-9. The VU meters don't move unless you crank it up really loud. And they aren't even the same color of blue as the main screen. Also the digital clock becomes 3 minutes fast every month, so it would be useless as an alarm clock. Also the power-up tone is loud enough to wake other people in your home.

Sounds ok, but not over $400 ok.
I have been looking for an old school looking boom box that is bluetooth ready. I have found a few, but sound quality was an issue for me. Either, too much bass, too little bass, too much midrange, or no highs. Now, this is not perfect in sound quality, but it does sound pretty good. Bluetooth connection is very fast from my cell phone, I also haven't had any problems with drop outs. Having adjustable bass and trouble helps a lot with the type of music you like, but to have a midrange adjustment could make this unit maybe perfect. UV meters is a nice touch, but are not accurate. Same with the spectrum analyzer, mostly for show. I haven't noticed any system case vibration at loud volume yet. The size of the unit is also a little exaggerated in the picture. Go by size specs, not the photo of it hanging off the guys shoulder. I also think the 200 watts RMS is a little exaggerated as well. After charging the battery, I payed it at moderate volume till it turned off. Battery life on first charge was pretty good at 15 hours. That's including the UV and spectrum. I got mine for $299. I don't think it is worth over $400. You get a strap, AUX wire, power wire, and an RCA antenna wire. I don't know why they just didn't put rabbit ear antennas on it. The RCA wire for an antenna is more of a pain to carry around.

Decent Product, No Longevity.
Sound quality is pretty good, but not the greatest, and I invested in this hoping it would be of good build quality and last a while. It is not the most durable, but its not flimsy either. I have only used it maybe 10-12 times within the year since I have had it, and the battery has already failed and isnt holding a charge. So the battery lasted about a year or less. Since I didnt use it for the last couple months, the battery could've died sooner, but now I have to figure out how to replace the batteries. It still works while plugged in, but I move it around a lot so I needed it to be portable as well. I honestly wouldn't recommend this product since its cost doesnt align well with the expected quality of sound, build, functionality, and longevity.

On par with HK and Bose
Bought this for loading dock/warehouse work in datacenters. Speaker sounds incredible. Battery life is great, upwards of 10 hours on a full charge. Pros: Great battery Lightweight and very portable with strap/handles Deep bass, great treble Crystal clear audio quality. True to sound no matter the size of the room. Great Bluetooth range Ability to adjust bass/treble on the device Cons: Strap design is trash. Always comes off. Takes about 100~ hours of play time to really break in. It will sound infinitely better after 3-5 weeks. It says 200W, but I've had 80W guitar amps that are louder. Don't get me wrong, its fricken loud. Just not 200W in my experience. Maybe my hearing is going though. Best used with a wall behind it so the reverberating cones can do their work. 3-5 feet away from a wall, or angled at corners are best for filling a 3000+sq ft room. My boss spent twice as much on his Harmon Kardon speaker and they sound exactly the same. This one even gets a little louder and definitely hits deeper. The driver performs as well as a 10" speaker. It will NOT hit the notes as 12" can though (sorry Ludacris).

Excellent bass
This speaker puts out some excellent bass and will be fantastic for summer jams on the deck. I love the 80s throwback boombox vibe it gives, with a modern twist of course of being bluetooth enabled. It has other standard connections as well but I use the bluetooth. It connects easily to any device. The speaker has a built in battery, lasting 10 hour, enabling it to be used anywhere pretty much all day. It also has a carry strap if I want to tote it to the beach or something. The sound quality is outstanding! The bass hits super deep and the sound quality is clear. This is a stereo that I find myself wanting to crank all the way up, but out of respect for my neighbors I don’t, haha. It definitely gets louder that I’ll ever be able to take full advantage of. Exceptional speaker for the price.

Don’t buy this as Amazon Renewed!
Purchased as Amazon renewed, bad idea. Unit looked clean, and like new, had the accessories, missing factory, Styrofoam packaging,, bubble wrap was used, but electronically it is trash. Sound is horribly distorted. Tried FM with antenna, paired Bluetooth to my iPhone - all the same garbled sound like a blown amp or speakers. Read instructions to reset the unit, no change. Interestingly the display reads March of 2016. Lastly after leaving plugged in for an hour, it doesn’t even hold a charge - makes me wonder if the battery is missing? Extremely disappointed. The description said like new - mint condition - fully tested. I thought that “tested” woild imply that it works - not just powers on. .This must be a returned item - because it does not work. I even opted to have it shipped to me in Amazon packaging - I would have thought there would be some packing materials- nope - just the heavy Aiwa box jiggling around inside a bigger box. Sending back.
