Perfetto
I was introduced to Caffo's Vecchio Amaro Del Capo about ten years ago by friends that own a restaurant in Trastevere -Roma. It is sublime and one of the greatest of all amaros out there and I've tried a few! I am so thrilled that you can get it on Amazon in the UK, as although it is readily available from Supermercati in Italy, for so long it was difficult to source in the UK. I now always keep a bottle in the freezer and it marks the perfect end to an evening and aids the digestion like nothing else - would not be without it! Perfetto.

Orangy and Alcoholic
I like trying new Amaro, this one is not my favourite, but its a very good one, fairly high Alcohol, and lots of citrus or citrus peel flavours. I good change from Campari.

Great stuff
Had it first in an Italian restaurant and loved it. We offer a snifter to our guests, but there have been no other takers so far. Well, each to their own!

Amo Questo Amaro!
My husband first tried this in a restaurant in Rome and it became his favourite aperitivo to enjoy after a meal while in Italy. We go to Rome every year and it’s easy to find in the supermarkets. However once back in the UK this is a speciality liqueur that’s not so readily available, so thanks to Amazon. My husband loves this drink and usually enjoys it as a shot straight from the freezer! La bevanda perfetta!

Il Vecchio Amaro del Capo è un grande classico che non delude mai. Ha un gusto equilibrato, intenso ma piacevole, con note aromatiche che lo rendono unico e facilmente riconoscibile. Bevuto ghiacciato è semplicemente perfetto: fresco, avvolgente e ideale sia come digestivo dopo i pasti che per un brindisi tra amici. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, bottiglia iconica e sapore che resta impresso. Un must-have per chi ama gli amari autentici e la tradizione italiana.
