Great but to expensive

Tried a different brand of electrolytes and have to say I’m a bit disappointed. The taste isn’t great, it’s not even one you get used to the more you drink it. Overpriced and likely won’t manage to finish the tub even though it’s a small tub. Should have looked a sizing before buying as was pretty surprised at how much it was for the price paid.

On opening, the overwhelming smell of sweeteners (I think) hit me and when I caught a bit on my finger and licked that, well, my word, it was not a nice taste. However, I progressed to mixing it, and sadly, still felt that the aftertaste was simply too artificial tasting for me.

I was using another electrolyte powder, so when this arrived I popped it in the cupboard to use when the other one ran out. Went to use it this morning and the seal was open, so I’m not going to use it due to safely/contamination concerns.

As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I cannot comment on the benefits of using this food supplements, so my review is based solely on the taste and the products as it arrives. Both myself and my wife have used various Love Life supplements and we like the brand. I saw this hydration mix and thought it might be useful for me. 1 scoop (which is provided) with about 500ml of water gives a decent amount of flavour. I gave it a good stir and it turns the water a very slightly milky white colour, which eventually went clear - but I realised that was just because it had all sunk to the bottom of the glass... a quick stir brought back the milky colour. I tried leaving it for 10 minutes, but the sediment remained at the bottom, so another quick stir before I gulped it down. It doesn't seem to just dissolve into the water unfortunately. I wouldn't be able to recognise it specifically as Raspberry, but it's definitely fruity (although the flavour is quite mild) and there's a hint of something else which serves to remind you that you're drinking a supplement and not just a nice fruit juice. I can't tell you if I feel more hydrated or not specifically, but I haven't felt any ill or negative effects after taking this for the last few days. It's nice enough to enjoy but not so nice that I would go out of my way to remember to drink it (I just leave it on my desk in my home office where I'll see it most days).

These are great if you need a low-sodium option but with a good balance of magnesium and potassium. I also got magnesium Glycinate to take with this to get in my needed mag, but all in all, this is a great supplement!

Like the formula but has a funny smell and an odd taste. Will use it up but won't purchase again.
