Dlyfull Battery Tester for AA AAA C D 9V, Button Cell & Household Batteries

After a recent move, my small battery tester gave up the ghost. I find these things to be very useful and being without one while decorating for Christmas was not optimal. For my battery-operated lights, I had to go through my battery drawer pulling out batteries and trying to find combinations (the lights require two or three AA each) that would work. Sometimes one of two batteries would be ok. Sometimes one of three was bad and prevented the other two from powering the lights. In fact, it was so tedious I went out and bought a giant pack of AA batteries at the local hardware store. When this device came in I immediately went back to the battery drawer and tested all of the remaining ones. Several had to be discarded because of either no charge or borderline. I've found that LEDs do not like batteries that do not deliver the full charge and all my Christmas lights are LEDs. As a plus, I had a bunch of older button batteries that, surprisingly, still hold a very good charge. I was thinking of pitching them, but now all I have to do is figure out what device I put them in. What I like about this device is that it tests a very wide range of batteries: your usual-suspect C, D, AA, AAA, and 9v of course. Also most 1.5v button batteries and even 3v button batteries; though larger ones like a CR2450 won't fit into one of the button sockets on the tester, you can check them by holding against the contacts on the 3v button slot. It also tests a range of the 3v cylindrical batteries used in my home security system. Nice. It even comes with a AAA battery to power the tester. Also nice. All-in-all a fine little device and well worth getting

Hello! I've been using this battery tester for about a month, and it works really well. It was very easy to set up. Just take it out of the box, put in the included battery, and it's ready to use. To test a battery, just place it in the tester, and the screen instantly tells you if it's Poor, Weak, or Good (Excellent). The display is easy to read, and you get the results right away. I've used it on several different types of batteries, including rechargeable ones, and it has worked great every time. I've also compared this battery tester with another one just to check its accuracy, and the results were the same. It appears to be very accurate. Overall, this is a simple, useful tool that does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm pretty happy with my purchase!

A great tester that provides numerous battery types in a compact package. It handles The normal 9V, AAA, AA, C, D as well as the normal (1.5V and 3V button/coin) batteries. It is a little confusing that it has prominent placement of two slots that are only for double cell camera types of batteries 2CR5/CR-P2 and CR-V3 and can be accidentally used for the button/coin batteries. Although the LCD is bright and clear and has enough actual markings to obtain a pretty precise reading, the markings that show which batteries go where are super tiny and not easily read. Bottom line is that this tester is a vast improvement over the testers that it is replacing (the one where you depress a spring in the slot or slide the two halves together.

I was really surprised it's how many different types of batteries that I could check to see how good they were. Along with the typical AA,AAA,9 volt in several shorter batteries that were shaped like those but shorter and a little wider they check a variety of the round batteries. The size is small, but not so small I would lose it. I like the design and it seems very accurate. The only thing I do not like is that there is no on/off button to push so I don't know whether once it recognizes, there's no activity it's shut itself off or if it keeps going until the battery runs down! Until I solve this I just put the AAA battery in the spot that it would go if I was checking it and then put all of it in a baggie and if I want to check a battery, then I take it out and put that battery in the charge department. I did not find the instructions for that in English. At first, I thought the talk two buttons may have been it, but those are actually the charging indicator for the 9 V batteries. Overall, I'm actually really pleased with this as I can determine status of a lot of of the batteries in the "junk drawer" that the grandkids may have inadvertently dropped the old ones in when they picked out the new ones they needed. For the price I certainly recommend. !

I used this tester for the first time, found it very easy to use and useful, found a couple remotes where one battery fully charged and one weak, very happy with with it so far!

Works very well had several different types of batteries laying around didn't know if they were good or bad. I went through and sorted them and very quickly out found out if they were good or bad. Seems like a good value for the money as I would have typically just throwing the batteries away since I didn't know if I could trust them or not. It holds or tests many types of batteries which is nice. It is compact and handheld and is very practical seems pretty durable too.

Good battery tester for any and all your batteries. Easy to use and you can test a variety of batteries. I would buy this again.

Very good can test any battery and a good price, well wrapped, clear view so you can see the amount of battery left.

I had loads of batteries of varying sizes and was convinced that they still had power left in them and needed a way to be sure rather than just chucking them away. I opted for this battery tester because it can test most battery sizes. When it arrived I was pleased to see that it was fairly sturdy and after looking it over I tried all of the old batteries and found that most had power still in them. Only a couple need binning. I had also mixed up some new batteries which after testing confirmed that they were still full. so saved throwing our perfectly good batteries. The only concern that I found was that some of the batteries showed more than half life but in reality performed poorly when reused. I was pleased to say that I did save about 10 2025/2032 coin batteries which I had no idea if they were still ok or not. In conclusion you could continue to just test in other items but I found this tested was good to test loads of batteries I had stored like many people do. Will I get the money paid for this back-probably not.
