AcmeRoma 3 Drawers Bombay Chest in Antique Black and Oak

this is the most beautiful piece of furniture i ever bought.!!! It's beauty exceeds it's picture. I was afraid it might be too ornate but it's not I have seen it on line for $ 996.00, and if i had not already purchased it i would have considered paying that. It looks right about accurate . Delivery was excellent there was not has much as a pinpoint of any sort of damage not a chip on it . it was delivered by cva and at first i had concerns until they got here. the chest was packed carefully. it was completely assembled. the delivery men were timely, friendly. AND SEEMED HAPPY I WAS PLEASED. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT FROM ORDERING TO DELIVERY was perfect. I WOULD NEVER HESITATE ABOUT BUYING SOMETHING FROM HOME $ LIVING AND ,OF COURSE WHEN U GO THROUGH AMAZON YOU KNOW ALL WILL BE WELL. Sometimes i just go out to my living room and stand and stare at this chest it is that beautiful. kate raes;-)

Beautiful piece of furniture. I agree that the picture isn't exactly the same as in person; however, I was happy about this. The flowers looked bright yellow online and they weren't in person. Otherwise, looked exactly same as picture.Had to arrange to be home for delivery because they require you take it from the truck to your home. This was inconvenient. It was heavily packaged. They suggest inspecting before the delivery guy leaves; however, it took me much longer than five minutes to unpack this! I couldn't bring myself to make the guy wait that long.Although a heavy piece of furniture, the drawers are rather cheap but will hold lots of light weight items easily. Provides lots of storage space. I purchased organizer pieces for the drawers.

It is a beautiful piece but was damaged, not easy to return

The product, a Bombe Chest, arrived in damaged condition (I had to tack up the bottom of the chest in order to prop up the bottom drawer and get it to open --- plus the shipping crate, upon arrival at my home, was practically torn open and severly damaged). Additionally, the chest itself was poorly finished sporting several spots where the lacquer finish had not been applied properly, thus showing bare wood. The only bright spot was that Visiondecor's customer service rep, Sean, was completely sympathetic to my situation and will be arranging for a full credit and will have the shipping company return to pick-up the chest.

The floral design is different than advertised. It arrived with minor damage to one of the feet that I was able to repair with wood glue. It is a nice looking piece, but not what I was expecting.UPDATE: I added a photo of the chest I received and the photo from the Amazon listing to show the difference in design.

The second that I saw this chest listed I knew that it would be the perfect ending to our interior stair project to the second floor. It looks amazing. I love the quality. The delivery service waited until I had had a chance to inspect the contents of the box to make sure it had survived it's long journey to it's final home. Love it. Recommend it!

It looks beautiful though not as glamorous as it looks in the picture.Colors are dull from the picture.Drawers dont open enough so good to keep small items.It was well packed. Delivered in time.Perfect condition. I am happy with it.

A beautiful Bombay Chest that is exactly as advertised. The drawers do not "glide", but they do work well and we are quite happy with this purchase. The Chest adorns our entryway perfectly! Thank you~
