BONIKOL MG Rubber adhesive GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC One-component adhesive based on solution of natural rubber in solvents. It is characterised by highly flexible, transparent weld. APPLICATION BONIKOL MG is used in the footwear industry as auxiliary adhesive for edge-folding, bonding of elements of uppers and for sewing. It is suitable for bonding natural leather, PU and PCV leather-like materials, textiles, nonwovens, knitwears, composition leather, carboards etc. such application where high bonding strength is not required (home shoes, bonding of soles etc. DIRECTIONS OF USE Bring the adhesive and materials to be joined to room temperature. Stir well the adhesive. Abrade smooth surfaces of attached elements, remove small particles and dust carefully. Apply thin layer of the adhesive on both surfaces. In case of absorptive materials (e.g. fabrics, leather) apply the adhesive twice – second layer about 20 minutes after first. Wait about 30 minutes to evaporate solvents. Join the elements and press them under approx. 0,1 MPa for 15 seconds.
