Balboa Gray Suction Cover with Screws, 4-7/8"" 30240U-CG

Got just what I needed on a hard to find item, and it arrived when it was promised. I wish Amazon Prime was as good at delivering on their promises.

Though promoted as a replacement part, this measure is OD vs ID so the fit is poor. Screw is much smaller than original. I made it fit until I can find one that the inner diameter is 4 7/8”.

This didn't fit my 1981 Jaccuzzi Lusso bathtub, but I knew that by looking at the photo. I got it anyway because I figured I could modify it so it would work. I was correct, after using my Dremel cutter on it, and drilling a screw hole in the middle, it worked just fine. It was way less expensive than the $89.00 correct part that is the only alternative. The Jaccuzzi screw was too short for this cover, so I got a 2 inch #10 by 24 screw that worked great. (stainless steel)

Wasn't able to fit in our hot tub. But arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Since they aren't making the exact replica anymore due to a required recall, for mine this piece didn't fit. But I was able to trim the pieces this mounts on to make it fit.

Returned, but have not seen my refund yet. It has been a few weeks, so we will see.....
