The latest mini album "100% Ver" from the 5 boys group "MBLAQ" (M Black)" is finally completed! MBLAQ is a complete edition of the latest mini album "100% Ver", released in January 2012. The release of the upgraded BLAQ% Ver., which is musical perfection and strong performance that no one can imitate. In addition to the 5 songs recorded in the previous "100% Ver", we also include 3 songs of "BLAQ%", "100%", and "Love comes on". Review: MBLAQ is back! - Of course I had to purchase this CD and add it to my collection since I have all of the other MBLAQ CDs! As always I LOVE the way their CDs are packaged, the red to yellow gradation is gorgeous! While the CD only has 3 new songs it was still worth the buy because I adore them! 1) BLAQ% (Intro) - Oh how I wish this was a full track! It's sort of a mash-up to introduce MBLAQ, which sounds like there are radios playing and TVs talking etc etc. I love the vibe of this song and I truly wish they'd made it into a full song! 2) 100 - Actually I'm surprised THIS song wasn't called BLAQ% I LOVE this track! It starts off with them spelling out MBLAQ "EM! B-L Ayyyyy Q, right now!" and I was like omg! I love the beat of this song, it just makes you want to get up and cheer for none other than MBLAQ! The use of vocals in this track is fantastic, one of my favorite songs by them! I'd say 4.5 out of 5! 3) You're Beautiful - Oh. My. GOD! I can not express my frustration with this song not being promoted as a single! First of all, no pun intended, the song is beautiful! I just love how sweet the melody is and how perfect all of their voices blend together. Usually I complain about the lack of rap (Mir biased) but I feel like this song hit all members spot on with a chance to shine. This shows a much softer/sweeter side to the MBLAQ boys and I am loving it. The song is a solid 5 out of 5 and goes to my top 10 MBLAQ songs list. 4) Run - Every Kpop group has a song similar in concept to this one. The song starts out hauntingly creepy with horror movie sound affects. Hearing "Bad boys" echo through the beginning portion had me instantly hooked. Basically the song boasts the usual "I'm the best" and "don't mess with me" message, but in a very fun way. There's a good bit of autotune used which saddens me because I think all five members have wonderful voices. The song is catchy and easy to sing along with. I give it a 3.5 out of 5. At first I was on the fence with it, not exactly something I wanted to listen to over and over again like some of their other songs. However after letting it play through a few times I've come to like it more. My reason for rating it anything below a 4 is the excessive, almost annoying, use of autotune. I know everyone is doing it and it "enhances" the music but in my opinion it took away from the track. *Edited* I originally only gave this a 3.5 out of 5 but I would change that to a solid 4 now. The song is not only catchy but the lyrics are actually quite clever. After giving the song a second chance I loved it even more! 5) This Is War (or It's War, depending on translation) - The most heavily promoted song (thus far) from the mini cd. At first the song may come off as a bit much for anyone who doesn't understand the concept or language. It's an incredibly intense song and it's impressive how well the group conveys feelings of anguish in the track. I love the instrumental and vocal ranges displayed in the song. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. As mentioned above the song is fairly intense, which is definitely a good thing! I would say this is probably their best song on the cd, with the combination of strong emotional feelings and beautiful vocal ranges. *Edited* Previously reviewing this song I gave it a 4.5 out of 5 but it truly deserves a 5 out of 5. The track is one of my absolute favorites and is simply far too brilliant to ignore. If only I had seen how amazing this was the first time around!! 6) Scribble - This song hints at more of the Spanish vibe MBLAQ has used in the past. It's very mellow, definitely one of MBLAQ's slower songs. To be honest at first I didn't enjoy the song much but it's grown on me some. Even still it's not something I will listen to intentionally. There's nothing wrong with the song per say but it just doesn't work for me, it's more about personal taste than anything. I'd give the song 3 out of 5, but then again I think my own personal likes and dislikes influence this voting, not the songs quality. 7) She's Breathtaking - What a delightful track! It's very upbeat and has somewhat of a musical feeling to it (like a musical number from a play). The track starts out with MBLAQ's Mir telling his girlfriend her skirt is too short and people will look at her! Basically the song is from an over anxious boyfriend whom is completely taken by this girl. Mir and the girl banter again later in the song, at this point the girl hangs up on him because he's being too cautious. I think the idea behind the song is very sweet and the song is quite addictive! I smiled the whole way through it and listen to it often. I give the song 4 out of 5! 8) Hello My Ex - Another upbeat track from MBLAQ! This song is INCREDIBLY addictive and makes you have the urge to rock back and fourth while singing. I love the songs concept and the overall feel from the track! In my opinion this is one of the better songs on this cd and I would definitely recommend it. I also give this song 4 out of 5. Review: MBLAQs the best - I love MBLAQ and i would love too see more and more stuff of them. LIKE poasters and all those other amazing things that they have.!
