Brilliant on chicken skewers grilled

I rarely write a review but this is worth a good review. If you like heat and garlic then you'll love this. Just to try it, I mixed half a teaspoon with some cooked chicken and carefully warmed it in the microwave, simple as that and loved it. Now I'm thinking simple things like mixing it with some boiled rice as a side dish. Could be added to pasta, saute potatoes, in a wrap, so many quick ideas. I will say it tastes a little salty. Maybe I noticed this because we use very little salt.Give it a try..

Like me, you probably don't make Chinese food every night of the week, so I opted for this pack of 6 slightly smaller jars so that I don't have opened jars potentially spoiling - although they will last for ages in the fridge anyway. The chilli bean paste that I bought has a great flavour which I love using in my own Asian sauces. You can make some really complex sauces with this but the easiest Szechuan sauce to make is:2 teaspoons of this chilli bean sauce (Toban Djan),2 tablespoons light soy sauce,2 tablespoons hoisin sauce, and3 tablespoons rice wineEnjoy!

Good sauce with rice, dont need to use a lot as it is strong

Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic Sauce is ideal for any one who has taken a holiday dip in the Dead Sea and inadvertently and swallowed a mouth full of the Salt filled waters as this product will bring back holiday memories !! .... utterly inedible !! , foul taste !! and an ideal product to ruin any dish you attmpet to create ... On a more postive note , the glass jars may prove usefull once the contents are disposed of !!!
