Great value and covers well
We got this to recolour our front door and it worked very well. We were covering a much darker a colour but there was enough paint here to allow us 3-4 coats and it covered very well. It went on easy and well with both a foam roller and a brush with good adhesion and no strong smell to speak of (I was using it outdoors). It's been a few weeks and it still looks fresh which provides some confidence regarding durability. Value for money is very good, it was chosen due to the colour and low cost and I don't regret it at all.

The Turkey Teeth of Shed Paints
I love this paint. For starters, it's actual paint! Thick, brilliant white, lovely to work with, good coverage and excellent outcome. In bright sunshine it actually hurts my eyes to look at my shed cos it's so white! 😀 Contrast this with the "shed and fence paint" I tried prior. Those are more like a stain that need to soak into the wood, so don't work well on pre-painted wood. That was kinda like rubbing a wet tea bag over the surface. This stuff went straight on and looks great with one coat (was white going over white). Needed two coats on a small portion of the door where I had wet tea bag stained it. The 750ml tub covered two sides of the shed in the pic with about 1/4 left in the tub. So buy more if you need to do the whole shed or more coats. Can't speak of its claims for 6yr life yet. But for now I'll keep my sunglasses on and enjoy the Turkey Teeth of Sheds.

Good paint
This paint is a lovely sage green with a satin finish but it does need (in my opinion) at least two coats and in some instances three were given.Ive dropped one star as after reading reviews I guess I expected it to work same as Hammerite ? It kind of does after three coats ! On the plus side it does dry very quick between coats and paint brushes can be washed in water - a big plus.

Saved me two grand!
We were debating getting a new front door until we saw the price and decided to paint it instead! Very pleased with this stuff, nice and thick, dries really quickly (in fact a touch too quickly for a breezy summer afternoon which makes it drag a bit if you put it on thinly). I didn't bother with primer or undercoat as the old paint was sound just rubbed it down and cleaned, took three coats for a good colour block and a fourth to get a nice deep finish. Still had about a third of a tin left after so plenty for one door. Dries darker than it looks wet and cleans off easily with warm soapy water. Can’t comment on durability yet.

Dried quick and covered well
This dried very quick and was painted over black. Took a whole pot but it’s only A Small pot. Painted at noon and was dry by 7pm really happy with application and colour. Good value for money and easily went over a range of surfaces.

Great Paint
As so many of the oil based paints are no longer available I decided to use this Johnstone's product . I have never been a great lover of acrylic paints for top coat on doors etc due to the quick drying times and thus the inability to lay the paint off ( smooth it off in one direction to leave a perfect finish). I applied the paint over two separate days and found that I was able to achieve a far better finish when the weather was cooler and the exterior doors were out of direct sunlight as this meant I had slightly longer time to work the paint. It has a good consistency and covers well but as mentioned above does need a fairly swift hand before it starts to dry. However this does mean that two coats can be applied in a couple of hours and being acrylic the paint will remain snow white for years unlike oil based paint which tends to start yellowing in less than a year. This paint also states a 6 year life so I will reserve judgment on that. In my experience this depends a lot on how the weather falls on different areas around your property. To conclude I would buy this paint again , especially if you find it on offer .
