Review: Great Feeder for the Money. - Great feeder for the money. Easy to set up. I made a few modifications to the legs. Each leg has four sections that just slide into each other. If you move the feeder, the legs slide out and separate. I put them together, drilled a hole at each joint, and used a 1/4" x 2" bolt through it with a lock nut. The feeder doesn't come with a battery. So I ordered a battery and a solar charger and I mounted the solar panel on the side of the feeder. On the first fill, I loaded 100lbs of corn...about half to 2/3 full. Its been in use for about two weeks, feeding three times a day. First feed runs for 10 seconds, the 2nd and 3rd feed runs for 5 seconds. Corn is getting low, probably have a few days left. I'm pleased with the whole set up. A good buy!

Good feeder and as long as you put Vaseline on the legs. The Vaseline keeps the racoons and squirrels off and from opening battery box.easy set up and easy to fill. Wish the made a better lid. Squirrels chewed hole in the lid. Used flex seal to seal up. Also battery display sucks! Thought I had a bad battery and recharged but charger said full. Tried new battery and still only shows half full.
