Excellent pedals
Not much to say. These are excellent quality pedals as you would expect from Shimano. I like the wide platform. Complement my 105 setup.

Quality Light Weight Pedals
Shimano quality.

Decent weight at good price
Pedals perform as expected. You will likely need to adjust tension. The left side was harder to clip out than the right side. Cleats pop in as expected.

Perfect Clipless Pedals for a Beginner
Picked up these pedals to move from flat pedals in order to generate more power and ride with more efficiency. They are everything the description states. They are perfect for a beginner rider as you are able to adjust the tightness of the pedals to allow you to detach from them more easily. Once you get used to them you can then tighten them to the degree that you are most comfortable. They are very functional and adds a lot of functionality to my bike riding.

Probably the sweet spot in the Shimano SPD-SL hierarchy, first pair from Amazon was defective
If you are looking to get Shimano SPD-SL clipless pedals than the 105 R7000 series is probably the sweet spot in terms of performance, weight, and cost ratio. Built with carbon fiber and having a metal kick plate allows these to be light while being durable. The included yellow cleats with 6 degrees of float and the ability to crank the tension to low make learning clipless pedals pretty easy in my book. I will say that the unit I got from Amazon must have been defective since I could barley clip in and out. I thought it was due to me being 140lbs so I brought them to my LBS and they confirmed that the tension was at it's lowest setting and when a 175lb mechanic tried to clip in and out with his own SPD-SL cleats he had the same experience as me. The next unit I got worked perfectly so I would say my first unit was maybe just defective.

All they need to be and really light for the price
The 105 series is a great way to go for most of the biking community. It is light enough to be used in almost any application, and the value compared to the upper tiers in top notch. These have and will stand the test of time. The have held up well in a few crashes and tons of miles in all types of weather.

Very nice
Still getting used to them, but so far they're doing nothing but proving themselves as the best pedals I've ever ran. Very nice job Shimano

Remember to adjust the tension
Easy to install. If there are hard to clip on and off remember you can adjust tension (gauge is located at back of cleat). Super easy just grab a hex tool put in hex hole in back of top of pedals, and adjust tension (one side is + other side is Negative tension). If not sure how then go on utube lots of videos Good luck!
