Myojo Bowl Flavored Udon Noodles, Beef, 5.6 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Years and years ago I had my first bowl of udon noodles at epcot and I've been thinking about them ever since. I'm used to the cheap ramen noodles and craved the thickness and chewiness and just.. a general upgrade from my 20 cent ramen packs. I trusted the reviews on this product and hoped for the best when I spent over $20 on instant noodles.If you're a first time buyer like myself and you're used to how flavorful instant ramen is, there's one thing you need to know. While these udon noodles are delicious, the flavor packets they give you are much lighter in flavor and it's more about enjoying the noodles themselves than the taste. I'm not saying they're bad in any way, but don't expect to be hit in the face with salt.

I've never had a lot of success making udon noodles at home. They almost always wind up undercooked yet mushy without any structural integrity to facilitate eating with a fork. These instant udon noodles, on the other hand, are absolutely foolproof to make.... empty the sealed (pre-cooked) noodles, freeze-dried veggies and broth packet into the bowl, add water, microwave for three minutes, and enjoy.The end result is a surprisingly delicious bowl of noodles that, while shorter than the ones served in a restaurant, are quite enjoyable to eat and easy on the stomach. There's a whole bunch of sodium in this, sure, but the same can be said about nearly any instant food product.

My box was broken into as if a Cambells soup can cut a perfected but out of the edge. None of the actual bowls were punctured but just to be very aware of the situation. Take the Information as u wish

I buy these every other month or so. They make a great low calorie small meal or lunch.

The noodles are nice and firm, with a good soft chew to them. The bowl cooks up well, and just adding a bit of leftover roast beef and a fried egg rounds it off really well, with a few pickled veggies.

I have tried a lot of different brands of Udon this one is my favorite. You get what you pay for.

Good quality soup, but tastes of plastic and even smells like it. It would taste good if the plastic wasn't there. Too bad
