WRC 4: FIA World Rally Championship - PlayStation 3

Great game with real physics and graphics. Rally at its greatest. Best of all 4 installements thus far. Takes some time to become acostume to the handling of the different vehicles but its worth every single play.

Honestly this is the best "rally" game I've played since Collin McRae's Rally 2005 and Dirt(the first one). If you enjoy rally games and are looking for a more recent one to play, just buy this game. No need to do anymore research or read all the negative reviews and sit and ponder. However, if you are looking for a flashy graphics heavy racer then you should probably skip this one. The graphics are not as bad as some reviewers have made them out to be but they are not as good as the more recent racing titles that have come out(texture rendering, pop-ups...etc.) The gameplay is better than I expected though and thankfully it looks like my rally desires have been filled for now at least. I'm pleased with this game and if you want a game that is the modern day equivolent to McRae's Rally 2005 then this one should do it for you.

This is so realistic! Exactly what I was looking for. Game not for people who like easy stuff. Puts you up for the challenge. Excellent game.

Great game if you are a rally enthusiast or just want to pick up rally game to see what its all about. Career mode starts you out in Junior WRC and you work your way up, ultimately to WRC. I appreciate also having the ability to simply run a rally even at any of the difficulty levels, e.g. J WRC, WRC 2, 3 and WRC outside of career mode. IMO this game is accessible to those who've never really raced any rally games, yet provides a challenge the further you get into it.The graphics are a bit dated, but I say that with hesitation as the cars and tracks look good. You're really not focused on anything else while driving anyway. Gameplay is smooth. After a while you'll notice the tracks re-use segments from other tracks as you'll have, 'deja vu', in certain segments, but overall the tracks provide enough variety. Car handling is good. You feel as though you are on dirt, snow, ice, tarmac. The game requires a lot of throttle management so this isn't your typical put your foot down, keep it down and expect a good segment time.For $20 bucks, quite a fun game. I believe Steam had it for $7 if you'd rather play it on pc.

This game is everything I expected. I especially like the fact that you can choose a lot of different tracks and cars right off the bat and the quick race is cool for a random challenge.

Avevo capito andasse bene anche per la mia play4 😅 ma non è così... ho avuto comunque la possibilità di giocarci con la play3 e rispecchia tutto nel migliore dei modi.

WRCと言えば、お馴染み、ファン待望のWRCゲーム4です。が、すでにWRC 5号機、WRC 6号機、と新作が発売されおりまして。本作はPS3版WRCゲーム第４弾であります。過去を振り返りますと、PS2全盛期Spikeから発売されておりましたWRC4が懐かしいと思われる方もいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか。本作はWRCをPS3で構成したらこうなるであろうというアンサー的ゲームであります。記念すべきWRCゲーム第4弾、フォーは鬼門というジンクスが成り立ってしまうのではないかと危惧致すところではありますが。本作はとても馴染みやすいゲーム性を持っております。シミュレーターではございませんので、お手持ちのゲームパッドで遊べてしまうんです。そして楽しめます。ハンドル型コントローラーを購入することなく遊べますので、敷居は高くないのが特徴です。レース的なゲーム（本作はラリースタイルゲーム）を初めて、プレーなされる方が居られても、多少のダメージを受けつつも、フィニッシュすることが可能なレベルに仕上がっております。１度フィニッシュまでしてしまえば、もっときれいに走破できれば楽しいのではないか。もっと上手に走破できれば爽快感あるのではないだろうか。などと気持ちが昂るかもしれないですね。言ってしまえば、３才児ぐらいからプレイできるはずですから、ハンドル型コントローラーを使用出来るのであれば、ゲームに参加できるのではないでしょうか。手のサイズに合った選択肢をお取りいただきたいと思います。僕はというと、HORI PAD PRO を使用しております。ゲームによっては反応しないパッドではありますが。トリガーの硬さがちょうどいい、それが理由で使用しております。好みです、ゲーム中一切の問題はございません。こちらのゲーム、クリアという設定は一切持たないほうが楽しめると思います。ただパッドの入力にのみ集中するだけでいいのではないかと思います。パッド入力つまりパッドとの闘いになります。パッドは大事にお使いいただくのが望ましいと思われます。よく言われます北米版とローカライズ版との比較ですが差はないはずです。イングリッシュでも雰囲気で行けます。そもそも海外のラリーをモチーフにしておりますからローカライズ版のほうが違和感を、お持ちになるべきかと思われます。尚、本ゲームWRC4をプレーするにあたりWRC中毒になるかもしれないという、非常に薄く、危険な可能性を含んでおりますので、ご注意ください。さらに、性別は一切問われませんので、男同士、女子会、カップル等々、様々なシチュエイションにて多人数でも存分にお楽しみいただけるゲームであると、言わせていただきます。ぷよぷよとWRC４を持っていればたいていの時間しのぎになるのではないかと思われます。最後に、これだけは認識していただきたいと思います。今後、如何なるWRCゲームが発売されても、このレビューはそれらにかかわる一切の期待を抱かせる目的を有しておりませんのであしからず。どうぞ、本作WRC4のみをご堪能頂きたいものと強くお断りお願い申し上げ、おわりにしたいと思います。プレーヤーの皆々様に幸ありますようにご期待いたしております。

I just got this a few days ago. Sure it's not the high end of racing sim games with exceptional graphic's and physic's, but, for the money and my love of Rally Racing, this game is fantastic entertainment!! It's already almost two years old, so don't expect it be be in the same league as GT-6 or Drive Club, because if you do, you will be disappointed! The rally challenges are a blast and the average looking scenery isn't important when you are doing over 100 MPH on gravel, mud, or tarmac. It's just plain fun at a very reasonable price!!!Check out some video's on You tube before you buy it, if you want to know more. That's what I did,as I was looking for this genre of racing game and also looking for a change of pace from GT-6, as I've been finished the Career mode for a long time now and the new challenges/content is slow in being added!! For me, you can't go wrong with this game for the money and better yet, the fun factor!!!Cheers,Pierre.
