Ours is for the boat just wipe it after rain or weekly for dust. If that's not an option im sure it will be fine.

had a problem with an in frequently used van discharging battery over time. plug this in to a cigar lighter or clip onto battery place on dash facing the sun behind wind screen. blue led telss you it's working. has worked well very pleased . no moans
