Great Noodles - Nice Quality
Very nice noodles. Tasty. These have 11 grams of protein per serving so sometimes I have them for dinner with vegetables on the side. Very reasonable in expense per serving.

Taste great
I really like these udon noodles they taste best for me when I boil them for 15 minutes. The texture is firm and sturdy and don't fall apart and taste amazing they do get a bit thicker after boiling but not much thicker and could be used for many dishes not just soups.

tasty, easy to make Udon for variety of noodle dishes
Drain and rinse to remove some excess salt. Good flavor, cooks well. Nice way to stock up on Udon noodles. 12 packs of 10 ounce packages in a box. I like cooking it in my hot pot, then after I drain and rinse, I add back to pot then add whatever other ingredients I want. If I plan have a brothy dish, then I may reserve some water.Good sized noodles. I dont often find udon in store, and I am not driving all over to find some. I can occasionally find the big fat noodles that are ready to go, but those are quite pricy. I like having an assortment, and I like Wel-pac products. Please with this purchase.

These noodles better than "Udon Noodles by HIME"
"Udon Noodles by HIME" (other brand) when cooked dissolves away and the center remains hard and as you cook it longer to soften the center of the noodle more melts away from the outer. Soon, you end up with skinny noodles in a cloudy goop.These Welpac Japanese Udon Noodles don't do the above, they cook through pretty evenly, without waste. These remind me of authentic Japanese Udon when I was in Japan. Cooked and strained properly I haven't noticed "heavy saltiness" mentioned in other reviews.TIP: Strain and Rinse well. Do not use water "noodles boiled in" as part of broth.

Best stir fry noodle ever
Love this product including taste, thickness, easy to stir fry and absorbs all sauces very well. I will never stop purchasing this product. Great with or without sauce and great in soup
