Amazing improvement
2006 Road King Classic. Unbelievable improvement over the stock bushings. I’ve owned my RKC since new and recently began to notice a spongy feeling in the bars. I’m not sure if the stock bushings are just absolute junk or mine deteriorated over time that I didn’t notice... but DAMN! AMAZING improvement after installation. The entire front end feels locked together. Difficulty of installation was a 2.5 out of 10 and I’m mechanically inclined. Anyone who wants to tackle this on their own, be VERY mindful of the bars/controls damaging your tank and headlight/nacelle disassembly damaging your fender. MAKE SURE you drape the tank/fender with thick cloths and if you’re uneasy about the bars, a simple trick is to tie/support them from the ceiling (garage for opener track or hooks).

Installed on a 06 ultra classic
Perfect fit. The riser bushings were original to the bike and they were in bad shape thanks to the harly rubber mounted motor. Wow these bushings made a huge difference!! It even helped the wobble I had on the highway.

Best way to firm up Harley Davidson handlebars when using risers or apes.
Arlen Ness has been making good quality HD replacement parts for decades, they fit and they work. XL/FX/Softail models a fairly straightforward installation. Dressers and some softail models with a headlight nacelle are gonna take a lot more dis-assembly to get at them but worthwhile. As always consult your service manual and watch a few You Tube vids on your model/year and it can be accomplished without huge effort. I've changed them out on all the Harleys I've owned over the years for better steering response and getting rid of that sloppy feel at the bars.

Worked perfectly to stop extra handlebar play
Worked great, got rid of all extra play that was in my newly lengthened handlebars. Bike feels rock solid again, for only $30, it's the best investment for your aftermarket handlebars.

Check your riser bolt depth
installed these on a 2018 FLHX Street Glide while installing Road 6 Customs Holy Roller 12" bars. Everything was stock prior to install. Being a shade tree mechanic for my own vehicles, I was ignorant to the length of the stock riser bolts being severely short until I had everything installed. Only had about a 1/4" of engagement of the threads in the riser. Called Arlen Ness and the call was answered by a live, knowledgeable person. He said that the stock bolts will not work. He suggested 1/2" x 13 (thread count) x 2 1/4" grade 8 bolts. He also said the 2 1/4" length would be hard to find but a 2 1/2" was very common at places like ace hardware. Got the 2 1/2" and had to grind down about a1/4". The Bars feel solid and no excessive vibration could be felt in the bars. Overall, very happy with the bushings but feel like there should be a heads up from the seller that they will not work w stock hardware on this application. 4 stars for the hassle of having to figuring out the hardware snafu

A MUST for tall handlebars!
Totally changed the way my bike/bars feel. Changing these bushings out was a time consuming process. I am aware that it can probably be done without taking the faring off but I'd never done it before so it gave me the opportunity to really clean it in the covered areas. After I got my bike back together with the new handlebar top clamp & bushings, the first moments pulling out of my garage to ride I could tell and immediate difference.Over my 100K miles my bars had moved down countless times, and my tall bars felt spongy, not rock solid like they feel now. I thought I was going to have to go with a Tee Bar setup, not now!

Fit great! Tightened up Wiggly Handlebars
Product install was a breeze on my 2003 FLHRI. I do have Heritage Softail bars so there is extra leverage on the bars. I used red loctite on the bolts and torqued to spec. I did find I had to retighten later on a trip. The feel is much better and the parts look much more stout than the OEM parts.

Sterdy
These made my new bars feel a lot more sturdy, and reduced the vibration.
