This is the best baking Flour I have ever used!
This is an Un-Brominated flour and honestly, the best I have ever used. I make everything from scratch, and everyone in my house knows when we run out. There is no replacement for flavor and texture. My bread rises more, and has a flakier crust.Cinnamon Rolls are Huge and Pie Crust is decadent.I recommend this for all Sourdough bakers too!

Great flour ! Great company !
This was a great bread flour and a low cost as well. It arrived intact at my Post Office with no tears or damage to the bag. It was fresh and my sourdough recipes baked well with no issues whatsoever !

Excellent flour delivered right away
I had been using King Arthur bread flour but ran out around the first week. I was able to get AP, but ran out of King Arthur AP and was using a few other brands. AP is fine, but using bread flour is much better. I have been looking for a source where I can get bread flour and finally settled on getting this 50LB bag. So happy I did. The bag arrived right on time. One coner did have a small cut. But didn't leak much flour. Just a slight dusting inside the box it came in.I decided to test it by making some baguettes. I bad both a poolish and used 60g of a starter. I found that to work really well for flavor. Otherwise I followed the KA recipe on their website. Although they say that you can substitute bread flour for the AP the formula was written for, that is for consumer bread flour I do think it needs just a bit more hydration. Maybe just 10% or so. But the final product was excellent.I do need to practice my technique though.Overall, very happy.

Terrific for bread, but good for any purpose
I bake bread for my family at least three times/week. I started buying these 50 lb bags when the pandemic began and I could not find flour available in standard 10 lb quantities. Initially I was afraid the flour would become stale before I used it all, but it keeps well in the pantry, even in a non-airtight container, over the four or five months it takes to empty the bag.Although this flour is fine for cookies and cakes, it's a star ingredient in yeast bread. I have never used a more flavorful flour, one that requires no special treatment and seems to play well in every recipe. One note: the price for this bag fluctuates dramatically, for no apparent reason. At one point it rose so high that I tried a different KA -- good, but not as good as the Special Patent. Mostly, though, I've been fortunate to buy the bag on Amazon for $55-60; though today, it's almost $80.

Professional quality breads and rolls
Got the bag of flour a week ago and have made free form bread loaves and rolls. The bread was made with a basic yeast dough recipe using water with instant dry milk and oil, and not only had a great taste, but also held it's shape. The bread loaves rose perfectly with a very good final oven spring rise to finish. They developed a great texture being fluffy inside and chewy outside. The rolls were made with a richer dough using whole milk, just enough water to dissolve the yeast and butter. It's a recipe that I've used often that has a higher hydration than the bread dough. I formed over size hamburger buns for 1/2 lb grilled hamburgers, some hot dog buns, and some regular rolls. They also held their shape nicely, even with being a softer dough. Nice oven spring, great texture, and they tasted wonderful.I don't think I'm going to get away with store bought rolls ever again.I find that the flour is as good as, if not better than, the supermarket King Arthur Bread flour in the blue bag.

Flour is fine but packaging is awful.
I ordered this because we go through tons of flour, since I bake bread for my family every day, but I will not likely purchase again due to the packaging. None of us noticed any difference in taste or quality of our baked items, for all of the hype about this, but more annoyingly, once you open the package, there is no way to reseal it! So unless you happen to have a container big enough to hold this much flour at one time, its terrible! I tried taping it closed, but then when I had to reopen to refill the smaller container, the tape tore the packaging so that it wouldn't reseal again, so we had to cut the packaging and retape further down. It would be such a simple thing to make this bag with a resealable ziplock type closure...we had to get a big air tight bucket to hold the rest...not thrilling...since to have it sealed air tight, it has a lid that is very difficult to open, and I have to do it every day.

good quality flour
So I purchased this mainly because it is getting harder to find unbleached flour. I only make a few items with yeast; we make tons of tortillas and buttermilk biscuits, which works great for that. It is better than regular King Auther unbleached flour? I use both I can't really tell the difference between them for what I do (mainly biscuits). My wife who makes the tortillas says she can tell the difference. Now some comments talk about no way to seal this bag and I never expected to be able to seal a 50-pound bag of flour. I can say this bag fits in 2 food grade 5-gallon buckets. ( i also bought them on amazon). I will purchase this flour again.
