This is an economical, excellent product. I frequently make pizzelles for my friends and family and I love the flavor. Although the recipe I had for this wonderful cookie called for anise extract, I know anise oil is much more flavorful and much less can be used by cutting the anise extract requirements in half. My boyfriend is so ecstatic, he bought me a new pizzelle iron that does three at a time instead of the traditional two. Thank you so much for providing an economical product that does the job most excellently.

I couldn't find this anywhere in stores since moving out of an area with Italian markets. The anise oil is great and makes for lovely cookies. Unfortunately the cost of this is four times higher than when I bought in in stores a few years ago.

Truly some of the best anise oil out there. My mother and I make pizzelles often and this oil is fabulous. The price is lower then many others but the quality certainly is not.

Great anise flavor for my Italian cookies and Pizzelles. With other brands, I had to use a lot of flavoring to get a strong anise flavor. But this is a stronger flavor so you don't have to use as much. So good!

Virginia Dare is the best anise extract, used for generations in Italian families for Easter baking. i paid $19.00 for a small one ounce bottle that arrived with the safety seal compromised and leaking anise all over the packaging, my hand and my kitchen counter. Amazon accepts no food returns. Understood. THEY SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THE BOTTLE OR GIVEN A REFUND. When I try to contact them through the site, I get a stock response of no returns allowed. When I called customer service, it was overwhelmed with calls and disconnected me. There should be a means to contact them at least by email. So Now I have a bottle of extract that is unsafe for me to use.

I received the anise oil quickly and the package included a catalog of many otherproducts which the vendor supplies for the kitchen. I have used the product in two recipes and it is a quality product with a fine aroma and taste.
